Ship had a lot of rust on balconies, draws were difficult to open, eaking tap on sink. One afternoon no water on returning from shore excursion to have a shower. On arriving in cabin noticed Bedspread had a hole in it. We were disappointed with the food which in the case of cream cakes all tasted the same only looked different because of their colour. Fruits ie. rockmelon, sugar melon, watermelon were cut up and thrown in a metal box in large chunk in Horizons Restaurant absolutely no presentation at all. Breakfast in the cabin consisted of 4 rockmelon balls as fruit, when queried was told it was "company policy" photos have been taken to verify. Staff were friendly but some very inexperienced. We missed 2 ports and in all of the others never stayed the allotted time. The ship was consistently late and also ran aground while in Vung Tau. We were never informed of what was available at the ports until the last minute so that you had to buy the ships tours or miss out. Only once were we informed on passing an island what it was not at all like other ships. Constantly had to review our account to make sure charges had not been put on when they were advised to remove them having signed twice to have them removed. On talking to people who had been on the ship last year was told that it had deteriorated and they would not return again. It definitely is no longer 4 star. Administration held very elderly people in long queues up to an 1 hour at a time coming on or off the ship or buying visas (which were compulsory even if not leaving the ship) No card room. Bridge players were put in dining room with rectangular, circular or eliptical tables fastened to the ground which was impossible. Entertainers were average except show which comes from the States. Arriving in Geraldton we were the laughing stock of the town being told "You are on the ship going "nowhere" we had been all over Channel 7. Have sailed on other ships and this was definitely the worst and would never be accepted with this standard in USA. Very disappointing. Charge of $175 to tour ship come on!!!! The final straw being dumped at Perth Bus Station instead of pre-arranged Sherwood Court. Driver nearly had a riot on his hands, fortunately still had the paper on me to show our destination so he backed down and said "Another stuff up of Princess Lines" I think that says it all.

The ship was spotless and the staff were continually cleaning.

We found the food to be excellent. As we had the early dining we missed our seating on numerous occasions because we were busy doing other things. There was always plenty of food to choose from and the Pizza (Verdis) and the Poolside BBQ were favourites (and free).

We travelled with our son who is 11. He loved the kids club. The kids were given a brochure outling the events that were to be held each day.

We were in B428 (mini-suite) which was fabulous.

I went on a 15 day return cruise from Fremantle in Western Australia to 5 ports in south east asia.
The ship was in excellent condition considering its age and its non stop schedule.
Apparently a novovirus outbreak occurred on the previous voyage so stringent health measures were in place for a few days.
What immediatly impressed me was quality of the public spaces decor.
The food was equally impressive , particularly the dining room menus. The 24 hour cafeteria ( Horizons Court ) provided a non stop range of food choices.
The only critisism I can make is about the coffee , it was evil.
I found the on board entertainment to be world class
The show time dancers were magnificent and the range of one man entertainers quite appopriate for the audience.
A great holiday on a great ship.

This was our first trip with the princess Cruise Line, although we have cruised a few tines before.Although the ship is a little older than others in the fleet, the ship was in pristine condition .You would have thought it had just had a refit. There was original art everywhere(apart from the art auction if you get my drift)

The food was great and varied with many dining choices. We opted for dining where you join a different company each evening.

Ship staff were very attentive especially our room steward

The on board entertainment -well I think they like to think of them selves as up market but give me a "Stars In Yours Eyes" type sing-a-like as opposed to( an hour of )a JUGGLER anyday.

The only fault I think we really found was the size of our inside state cabin cat and swing come into mind. There was nowhere to store our luggage and therefore they were beside the bed in full view .

Still I would go again on a Princess cruise tomorrow, and maybe chuck the juggler overboard .
