Hi Tina I've had to look on the net for you as not been to Portugal in October. Seems there's highs of 23deg averaging 19deg. Apparently it can get a little chilly of an evening when the sun goes down.

I have been a few times in October and to be honest is has been a very mixed bag. We have had very hot 25+ temperatures with wall to wall sunshine and hot evenings, also had a bit cooler days and chillier evening where a jumper / cardigan or light jacket has been required.

The last visit October 2015 was wet and cold the entire time we were there and the whole area suffered major flooding shortly after we left.
