please do correct me but am i correct in thinking that calangute is going more dirty and not best kept , me and my wife have been going for over 10 years and the place is not looking good in the past we have had some great visits and always enjoyed the place and the area , we visit the public bar and the last visit in January this year , was very quite and in the past you were unable to get a seat on the front of the bar , How times have changed it was almost empty most nights and even the fiesta bar was quite , it seems that whole of calangute has all but gone ??? , but maybe its the influx of the locals every Thursday to Sunday the traffic is utter chaos and the roads are unwalkable , dangerous place and the pollution is very bad , What have they done to this once great part of goa (Calangute) , on a good note the bar at the bottom near the beach is still okay - Alex's bar great night for football 2 large screens well done Nevis , i think its time to give this area a miss now and perhaps move on for a year , its a great shame but i just wonder has calangute lost its charm ??
