I came back from Velez Malaga last Wednesday and have a lovely tan as the weather was fabulous. If the digital temperature readings are accurate in the streets then we averaged between 27 and 29 every day :sun2

Booked a 1 week holiday to Belamadena for some sun and too make the most of the last few days of this year's holiday allowance.

Arrive late on Sunday 13th. So I thought I'd check MSN weather and some local spanish websites to see what I'd be expecting. :(
The day I arrive the temp drops and the rain sets in!

Hi,

We go this Saturday, arriving in the evening. I too am disappointed to see that the weather looks like it is about to change ready for when we get there!!!! :(

Is there anybody in this forum who lives out near Malaga/fuengirola who can check the local forecast and tell us otherwise?? Please don't say we are in for a week of rain!!!!

:thanks

Katie.

Been here (Torremolinos) a week and had fantastic sunny and hot weather every day until this morning.

Today it´s been overcast and light showers, but it´s not cold, I´m sat here at 9pm Spanish time with shorts and a T-shirt on.
The slight showers have cleared the air and made it a bit more comfortable.

Going to Fuengirola on Thursday is it still warm in the evenings or are sweaters advisable?

The weather for this time of year in the CDS has been exceptional.
IMO: Pack a sweater/jumper because the weather can break at any time and the nights will slowly become chilly.

The scenario is, that you take a jumper and don't use it, (what a shame) or you'd wished that you had.

yes sanji............the weather here in fungerolia is brilliant. I myself packed a cardigan and slighter warm fleece jacket for the evenings, and worn neither these last 11 days . To save some weight on my return I will be wearing both on my return on wednesday. My wife at the moment is having a bad morning with pains from fibromyalgia, and in bed , but with slight increase in meds, hopefully will be feeling better tomorrow...........She tells me its because of all our dancing, but i think its all to do with her shopping sprees lol ( bless )

All the best folks, gotta top up this lovely suntan i got

going to torremolinos this sunday for a week, and to be truthful havent got a clue what to pack. Dont wan t to pack lots of things I dont need, ie bikinis and sarongs, will I need them. Also do I need to pack shorts and vests for the little one or shall i stick with jeans and tshirts and will I need suncream or not. Never been away to spain this time of year. I know that I will need a coat for the evenings and to be truthful am erring on the side of caution and thinking of packing my winter stuff , if anyone can advise it would save me alot of hassle. Thanks Diane.

travel as light as you can if possible.take a jacket and warm jumper. you can travel in them.save weight.suncream is a must even this late in the year.just take shorts for sunbathing and a bikini top.to do your top half.just take a few vest and two pairs of shorts for little one.you can always rinse them out if they get dirty.but take some jeans and warmish top in case cold one day.or rain.
mix and match you stuff.no need for a different outfit for day and night.take a pair of open shoes and a good warm pair out with you.if your only going for a week.don;t take two weeks worth of stuff out with you.only take small bottles of stuff you need.no need for a huge bottle of shampoo.don;t forget a small brolly.and may be a very light mac.

thanks for that feel a bit better now. Diane.
