Did have a look on private rentals. but they are rather expensive as all priced weekly as aimed at holiday lets and im looking for 6 months minimum (apart from the 1 bed place in Icmeler which i already know of).

In answer to the other part of your question, we bought our place in Icmeler through http://www.aegeanestates.com/ . We found them to be very helpful, honest and there was no pressure, they have also managed our property for us for the past two years. Long-term rentals are easier and cheaper to find in the winter months, which seems to us to be the best time to look for property. Hope that's helpful, good luck Michael & Jill
