flew out early November with Qatar,good flight, sphinastayed at Caphinas cottages, I had a small apartment(kitchen with cooker and fridge,shower and looe,double bed with wardrobe etc) the cost was 800 rupees per night, travelling around I found new places had opened(the pavilion,the fish and chip shop,and 3 new indian food cafes at maria hall)and a few places had changed their name, art design was now woodstock,maridian is now brilliant(no it wasn/t) Lamour is now firefly, and still empty,I ate in Johncies and pedro's, quite nice but a little expensive,I went to Rafaels, didn't eat there far to expensive in comparison to all the other surounding beach shacks, I used 3 beach shacks, Johnnie fishermans,cocos( moved up the beach past Domniks)and the Hawiian gardens, visited others but not so keen on them,leanoras is now the hungry duck, owned by russians for the benefit of russians. I ate almost exclusively at Caphinas, A small example of menu and prices.butter chicken and chapati 100 r/s chicken xacuti 80 r/s, chicken vindaloo 70 r/s, I have many more examples but cannot be bothered to post at the moment. Did I enjoy my holiday? I am going back again the 22 of Jan for a month, so yes I again loved being in Benaulim. Danny
