Hi!

Many visually impaired people routinely access the web through assistive technology such as screen readers e.g. "JFW", which is fine if you want to lug your laptop abroad with you. However there is now a new service which allows blind and visually impaired folks to access a on-line screen reader which could be accessed through your everyday internet cafe, assuming the computers have either a speaker or headphone socket. The system is currently on trial but seems readily accessible, for frequent visually impaired travellers it may be very very handy. It's really really simple, (it must be I can use it!LOL!)just go to

http://www.satogo.com and your away! it does not download any prog directly onto the pc you are using so no argument with cafe owners!LOL!Probably not many VI travellers on this forum but thought it worth posting anyway!
