Are you disabled or know someone who is? What are your experiences of hotels and resorts as a disabled person?

Hi Jimmy

We took my husbands mobility scooter to Hammamet in December no problems with it except the pavements are not ramped like ours, if you go to the new part of Hammaet there is alovely promenade, we used taxis and the drivers were only too helpful in dismantleing it and putting in their boot. Also it was brought right up to the plane door as they do not have any tunnels to the aeroplane like we do in Manchester.

Thanks Jose, i was a bit worried about the airport personnel. :yikes
We are going to PEK so will spend most of the time out and about, as well as in the complex. good to know about the taxis though.
Normally we take a wheelchair for my wife, first time with the scooter.

Yasmin is indeed beautiful, we visited 2 years ago. :sun2
