We ate out a couple of times in nabq bay and it was all very nice and relatively cheap. Cheaper than at home anyways. We had a 3 course chinese at the peking restaurant which is near the new TGI Fridays and mcdonalds etc. The starters worked out about £2 and the main meals around £4-7 depending on what you got and how fancy it was. Bottled beer was around £2.50 and soft drinks were pretty cheap around £1.

Some of the supermarket were cheaper than home others were roughly the same.

The trips are cheaper if you go with companies outside your hotel/holiday company. There was a excursion shop in the Al Khan shopping centre and i think Cairo by plane was £110. There was also camel safaris and quad biking, jerusalem.

Not sure about the weather sorry!
