just returned from natal brazil with thomsons. stayed at hotel rifoles praia on ponta negra beach.had great time staff really tried hard to speak with us and we did the same in their language. hotel first class only thing that lets it down is its on the steep slope to the beach food first class and very good price. we did the buggy ride and cashew trip and both where fantastic market at as we called it elgrim was worth the trip . taxi fare was 30 reas each way for 4. went out nearly every night to eat at various locations and never had a bad meal and boy do they give you plenty to eat at very cheap prices. only complaints are at one place we were charged £1 each for the singer but not until we had got the bill also its about time thomsons updated the planes which take you there 767 -200 they seem to br lagging behind others in this area brilliant rep called mario and he is english there were 6 in uor party ages ranging from 45 to 64 and the staff at the hotel love jokes like the shocking pen and lighter and on the last night all the ladies were given a carved wooden gift as a token of the holiday to brazil no trouble changing money down at the praia shopping mall cambio pound notes were the best exchange rate and a small tip each day to the staff if they deserve it goes a very long way.
