Package / flight costs 2010...

Hello all,

I've just booked aegean flights for next august - 2012, I have also been looking for a package for my parents. I have found that both have gone up quite a lot on the prices paid this year. Has anybody else found this when they have been looking.

I think the package for same hotel / dates was up by £300 on last year. I am happy with the price I paid for my flights at £300 for 2 people for 3 weeks, but this seams to be up on what the prices were last year too... Guess the fuel prices have a lot to do with it.

So, how have you guy's found prices?

The flights with Aegean came out earlier this week for 2012 and the prices were very good. I managed to get 2 flights from Glasgow to dalaman for £144 each.

The accomadation has gone up very slightly since last year and the transfers are also up slightly. I tend to book myself and avoid the tour operators as their accomadation surcharges are a joke. Travel republic, Alpha Rooms etc do not charge under occupancy supplements and their proces are amongst the cheapest. This year I am paying £80 for our weeks in an apartment.

Best to shop around to see if it will be cheaper with tour operators but booking separtely is usually cheaper
