Sorry if this is not allowed to be posted here, but hopefully it will bo ok :)

I live in Cyprus and have done so for over 3 years. I along with many other expats volunteer at the Paralimni dog pound, we totally take care of all the dogs needs 365 days a year, cleaning, walking, vets runs, airport runs, sadly without us they would not be cared for at all. Anyway the point of this post is that we are desperately short of volunteers. Since the group was started well over a 100 dogs have been rehomed. Anyone holidaying in the famagusta area if you could spare any time at all to help us it would be really appreciated :)
The pound is in Paralimni, it is in the council compound just past Home and Wood, all it is really is a big cage stuck in the corner of the council grounds with 5 cages inside that. It is nothing like the RSPCA homes in the UK, it really is pitiful to see them housed in this way. We have had some holiday makers already help us and it really is a great help to us and the dogs, you can see more details on their FB page, thank you for taking the time to read this :)
