can anyone tell me how long the passport needs to be validated for on return from Bulgaria

Hi Sue,

Under Consular Information on the Embassy website, it's at least three months beyond the holder's period of stay in Bulgaria.

thanks for that, we come back from Bulgaria in September and my passport runs out in May next year so I have plenty of time
