It's just a short walk from Nissi Beach. You can just see a bit of the nearby waterpark in this photo (taken a couple of weekends ago)

Atlantica Oasis is just across the road from a small beach in Limassol (the beach is to the left of Breeze beach bar if you stand facing the sea ). MacDonalds is a turn to the left when you come down the street to the main seafront road. (It's by the green arrow on the map - you can see the pool on the left of the arrow). The spare land after McDonald's and the Luna Park is where they hold the Christmas Fayre and the beach is opposite.

It really all depends on what you want from your holiday. If you're a beach bum, then Ayia Napa may be the best choice if you want golden sandy beaches. In Limassol, it's mainly a darker, shingle type beach which runs pretty much the whole length of the resort (around 15km of it).
The added bonus of Limassol is we're central for most places on the island so a visit to Paphos can be done in an hour in each direction and Ayia Napa is about 90 minutes driving time.
Airport journey is about 10 minutes longer by road from Larnaca than Paphos.

Limassol has an old town which is all being upgraded to fall in with our newly opened Marina near to Limassol Castle.

You also have the ancient Roman city of Kourion and it's ampitheatre about 30 minutes away from the hotel by car and a fab beach situated below Kourion (Episkopi Bay / Curium Beach).

Or Kolossi Castle is a fun trip for a morning.

I like both places for different reasons although I have never stayed in the Aeaneas Hotel, I did see it not long after it was first built. I've stayed at the Oasis on a number of occasions.

Hmmmm, a difficult choice!
