hello going on holiday to hurgarda for the first time in march, really looking forward to it,
could anyone tell me if you can buy pain relief gel over the counter in the chemist, usually go to India and buy some amazing herbal rub there and wondered if we could get something similar in Egypt,

Have been to hurgarda Egypt in the past for Red Sea diving. But never really shopped for herbs. you may try your luck at Abu Ashara store at the the Sakala district.
If you buy anything from a pharmacy you need to barter.
I wanted some cough linctus and they asked for LE85 which was about £8.50!
The bottle was only 30mls so I didnt buy it.
I asked the Rep,who was Egyptian, to get it for me and he was only charged LE20.
There are pharmacies in all areas and anything can be bought over the counter.
Where are you staying.
