Hi there, try adding 0034 in front of the number you're texting. You do need the code.

Pretty sure thats right, we have a mobile for use over there and thats what our family have to do 
It's all very confusing really! I know that if you take your UK mobile abroad then anyone texting or phoning you doesn't need to use a code. Also if you have a UK mobile and you're abroad you don't have to use any codes to text or call a mobile back in the UK.
