I had a delayed flight last May with Thomson and decided tomake a claim against Thomson under EU rule 261/2004. I looked first at the Martin Lewis website forguidance http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/and found they recommended Resolver. You are still claiming againstThomson but it is a FREE tool that enables you to submit a claim. Completing
the template is easy and ensures you enter the correct information at each
stage and very important keeps a log so should you at some time finish up going
to court you don’t have to search for it
The easiest way is to make your complaint via Resolver.Follow the linkhttps://www.resolver.co.uk/companies/thomson-holidays-complaintsThomson (like other TOs) will be totally unhelpful inresolving any issue as many here on HT will tell you. This route will be less fraught and, as Iunderstand the way in which Thomson operate these days the issue will finish up
with CEDR for arbitration and again a very simple process. One thing I will tell you is not to expect the whole thingto be sorted in a couple of weeks. Thomson are definitely the Tortoise not the Hare – my complaint started in Mayand finished in December.
