Tobacco 1 kilogram

Beer 110 litres


Wine 90 litres

Spirits 10 litres

Fortified wine (for example port or sherry) 20 litres

There is no allowance, there are guidelines in place, and you can bring back as much tobacco as you want, but it has to be for your own personal use.

If you bring back more than the guidelines, Custom Officers have the right to question you about the amount you're carrying.

It is very important that you save any receipts to prove you have paid the IVA (VAT) as Spain has its own allowances regarding what you can take out of the country, before it is considered as commercial export and therefore subject to export fees.
