I gave you a new thread as the "here to help" member hasn't been back since his/her post.
Air Malta is good and usually best price. However I have found BA sometimes can have great prices ( I fly from Aberdeen)Haven't actually made it to Malta but came close a couple of times so had researched it.

There's a few airlines that fly to Malta from Birmingham. Some don't have their prices out yet for next year (Ryanair for eg).

I usually check all the flight times & prices first & see which suits me best. Don't forget you can fly out with one airline & return with another if times suit you better 😉
