Thank you for the info, I tried the piratebay site, although I could get on the site, virgin would not let me click on anything. I love my kindle, but I do begrudge having to pay top prices for the books, I wonder if Amazon will ever start selling second hand ebooks ha ha ha I will have a look at the site now.

im on virgin and I cant use torrent sites,it automatically blocks them,

will try kindle

Some of the most descriptive and wonderful prose I've ever read is in Shantaram. I often read and re-read a paragraph, it was so good. The opening paragraph alone is one of the best openers to a book.

Personally, I think the narrative went off a bit towards the end (was that where fiction took over from fact? Dunno) but it's a fantastic read - especially on holiday in India.
