Elenite is a quiet little resort situated about 10 kms form Sunny Beach. Lovely beach, plenty of free sunbeds and parasols. 5 or 6 different pools to choose from, however some are very deep. My 5 and 8 year olds are non-swimmers so we could only really use the Royal Bay pool which went from .6m - 1.3m. The main pool in the Royal Park is 1.6m deep. Main pool in the village is 2.1m deep. Perhaps its just an Irish thing though, all the British kids seemed like brilliant swimmers and they didn`t appear to have a problem. Water Park is right next door and well worth a few visits. Large main pool with selection of slides, large middle ...
swimming pool and a brilliant kids pool with slides and water bucket. Very clean apart from the toilets but this seems to be an overall Bulgarian problem. Free entry for hotel guests, 10 leva each for a sunbed and you had to pay for drinks and snacks there. A few shops around the resort selling just about anything you will need for your holiday. Resort and beach very clean. Staff could make a little bit more effort in the smile department. Do not go for two weeks, actually, stay in Sunny Beach and do a day trip up there. 30Leva for all day access, all the food you can stomach and all you can drink.

The resort generally is in a quite a nice location.

Everywhere is constantly being clened and tidied.

There is not much going on.

Plenty of shop areas.Went out a couple of times to kill a bit of boredom as although the weather was fine the sea was a bit choppy. Then you aren't allowed to swim .The life guards constantly getting anyone out who was in above their knees.
Mind, two men went out in canoes and when they got in trouble the life guard went on reading his news paper, another holiday maker went in and helped the man.

I would just like to add we did have a good couple of days and really enjoyed that it was only the appearance of biggggg jelly fish that put us off going back in.

I would definitely return to this resort again but only for 1 week. I would certainly never book with FC again as there reps were non existent and when you did see one extremely rude and obnoxious. What I would like to say is how fantastic the animation team were, night after night performing and in 2 weeks we never saw 1 show the same.

Also as a tip for anyone travelling for the 1st time never get a taxi from Nessebar to sunny beach we were ripped off.
Get the small train over the water and where it stops walk 300 yds and get a horse & carriage. It\'s cheaper and the kids will love it.

Everywhere is cleaned regularly. The complex is gated so you can\'t get back in without your wristband. Entertainment is ok if you like caberet though it was good for the kids. The beach was clean and lifeguards there all the time. take flipflps though as getting in to the sea is very rocky. Elenite is ok but it\'s all in one place and no where to walk at night.

Beach fantasic, perfect sand, perfect clear waters. Tides/current can get a little strong, so dont let your kids wade out to far.

Entertainment - Butlins style, same old thing, got a bit boring & very loud. Reps did play a few pool games but seemed more interested in adults than children.

Cleaners clean all day. nice people, but don\'t have same cleaning standards as the English. They used the same mop & it was very dirty. Toilets on resort - filthy, smelly, flooded. Use your room toilet.

Overall the resort was clean considering how many people were staying there. The cleaners worked hard at trying to maintain the cleaning but people were spilling drinks everywhere and leaving so much rubbish around at times there where huge amounts of wasps everywhere. The toilets downstairs by the restaurant where filthy, the cleaners again tried to maintain them but there where just so many people in the resort using them. The area around the pool was constantly sticky, it could have done with being hosed down at night as somedays it really smelt of sticky drinks and dirt.
I did not like the fact that there were very young children driving around on scooters all the time, I felt this was not ...
only dangerous for the chidren as there was no protective clothing surplied but also for the people walking around.
The resort entertainment was okay for small children but not very good for older ones, the older children ended up hanging around at night, something we hoped to avoid. The first week my eldest son sat in the bar on his own most nights as there was nothing for him to do, once he met other children they wandered about but not really a great deal to do other than the arcade.
The beach was lovely when you could get a sunbed, again to many people not enough sunbeds. The only downside was people leaving there rubbish everywhere. The sea gets a bit rough at times but there are life guards watching and they tell people not to go to far in if its particularly rough.
I would recommend this hotel for a week but don\'t think I would go again as it was just to busy and noisy at times.

Location to the beach, well you\'re on it. Lovely and clean, and half way through our hols we spotted about 5 dolphins jumping out the water - swimming past.

Beach was cleaned every night, lifeguards at the hotel pools and on the beach, seemed to play with the holiday makers and sunbath more than keeping a watch, but then on a particular windy day, red flags were up on the beach, they got everybody out the water, to the waters edge and stayed alert on their feet, so I suppose at the end of the day they know what they where doing.

Hotel surroundings neat and tidy and grass kept mown and flower beds looked attractive.

Water park in the complex, lovely ...
safe area for the children and a lot less crowded than the hotel swimmimg pool, mainly because you had to part with 5 lev for a sunbed and 5 lev for a parasol - but well worth it, to relax and take in a cocktail from their bar.

We had read some naff reviews, but overall it was very enjoyable.

There are always cleaners walking around sweeping or cleaning floors and the room was always kept clean and tidy.

Entertainment by the Bulgarians was very good and well worth a watch but get to the animation hall early as it is so small considering there is over a 1000 people in this hotel.

The reps shows are awful and a shame to us brits but they tried!!

The beaches were lovel and very tidy of rubbish, the sun beds are free and plenty of them available, plenty of activities going on either in or around the pool area, the Bulgarian entertainment team always around doing all sorts of activities too, excellent resort to take the children to as there is something for everyone ...
here and it is very safe and secure for children to go off and play.

The beach was lovely except on windy days when you got a mouthful of sand when trying to eat your pizza!! Little tip...take a portable DVD player. It came in handy on a few occasions when the entertainment ended at 10pm. Take a busride...It\'s crazy!! Water park at Hotel was very good. Didn\'t see the kids all day...excellent!! ALL the shops sold fake designer gear and not much else. We had a lovely time considering we were thinking of cancelling due to reports. See for your self, it\'s lovely.

There is an army of cleaners working around the clock. They are extremely hardworking people and always have a smile for you! There are birds nesting on some balconies but the babies took flight while we were there! Lovely to watch! We saw dolphins in the bay - wild ones - not performing for treats! The beach is lovely and clean - but some people tended to leave their horrible cigarette ends lying everywhere - pick them up please! We are going back again next year. Our rep Jason from First Choice was lovely - very helpful. Can\'t wait to go back. We only got back on Saturday 22nd July - missing it already!!

the resort was very clean at all times.
the animation team at the hotel are fantastic. they put a great show on every night at animation hall. we thoroughly enjoyed this every night. they involve the kids with some of the shows asking them to join in and dress up and actually be part of the show which i thought was great, we payed 20 lev (about 8) for this but it was well worth it as the kids had a great time and they get a present at the end of it. if you want to go to watch one of their shows at animation hall get there early as it gets very busy in there and if you ...
go to late you won\'t get a seat. they also entertained the adults and kids throughout the daytime. they do some trips out of the hotel. my partner and nephew went go kart racing in sunny beach which they thought was fantastic fun and well worth the money (40 lev each, 15 each) the animation team have a fun packed schedule daily. (air rifle shooting, darts, french bowls, aerobics, water aerobics, t-shirt painting, football etc) i would recommend them over the first choice reps any day.
the beach is lovely and very clean. the sea is also lovely and very clean. lots to do on beach, bouncy castle for the little ones, kayak\'s, pedalo\'s, banana boat etc. there is also a small pier from which the boat trips go from. at the end of the day the beach was thoroughly cleaned and raked over by a tractor all ready for next day. i thought i would just mention jellyfish as other reviews have complained about this, yes there were lots of small jellyfish in the sea but were harmless, kids had fun catching them in buckets and nobody got stung.
the waterpark in the resort was great fun. it is free to get in but you do pay for your drinks, sun loungers and umbrella\'s there but it is worth it.(sun loungers are 5 lev,2) the small kids pool is great fun, plenty of small slides, the kids really enjoyed the bucket which would fill with water and then tip over them. the bigger pool is also great with some wicked slides for adults and older children.
the weather was great while we were there although did have a couple of showers (but they are over so quickly). the temp was in the 30\'s most days and we all have lovely tan\'s. can get nippy at night though.
we would definitely visit this resort again, we had a fantastic time.

Lots of swimming pools, get up early for the sunbeds though by 0800 there is none . Look out for kids on electric scooters as these hurt if they hit you . Do take the bus to Sunny beach its only 70 pence taxis will cost about 8 pounds
Shoping is cheaper in sunny beach so buy your stuff there . Old Nessebar is very nice just jump the boat at the hotel at 1030 and it returns at 1430 . Have a look around and then have lunch great day out with out paying the reps for it. There are two water parks in Sunny beach they cost about 9 pound to get in , but dont pay the reps ...
for their excursion. Jump on the bus to Sunny beach there you will find that the water parks run free buses to and from the waterparks

The hotel was very impressive and our room was lovely. There was a lot of organised entertainment for the kids during the day. The beach was immaculate-they cleaned it thoroughly every evening and there was always enough sunbeds. Evening entertainment was the same sort of thing you get at any resort-gets a bit wearing after a while though!

Daytime entertainment is great - so much to do!

The resort is remote - Sunny Beach is about a 20 minute bus ride away (1.80 lev), or taxi for approx. 20 lev. Didn\'t enjoy the night life in Sunny Beach - heaving!!
We were hassled by almost everyone we passed in the street.

We didn\'t venture on to the beach, but it looked lovely! There were families happily playing with their kids in the sand.

I can\'t believe no-one has mentioned the Spa!!! It wasn\'t there when we came two years ago but what a fantastic addition to the resort. Can\'t recommend it enough.

On our second day we both had a Turkish Bath and then aromatherapy massages to prepare our skin for a nice tan. Oh and ladies, try the chocolate face pack. On our last day I had the wine therapy, which helps you to keep your tan and not peel and hubby had 6 types of massage done by two girls from Bali.

Worth every penny (or levs, lol) and it wasn\'t expensive.

The resort is about 30mins drive from the very different resort of Sunny Beach. A very quiet relaxing resort, just what we wanted to have a good rest.

We went to sunny beach two or three times and enjoyed our visits but far to busy for us for a holiday we prefer to be out of that and visit when we want.

The resort is self contained and so safe that I just sat back and relaxed for the two weeks we were there.

Everywhere you looked there were cleaners everywhere we went. There was something to do wether you want to relax by the pool or get involved in whats going on. There is definatly something for everyone.

The beach is spotless thanks to every one at the Royal Park.
