We arrived late at night and were pleasantly surprised with the exterior of the hotel. It is apparent that the hotel has had some modernisation recently and has a spacious and clean reception area. Unfortunately the reception staff do not speak much English and I'm afraid this comes across as rudeness.
We had booked 'adjoining rooms, High floor, sea view'....we received 1st floor overlooking the roof of reception and separate floors!
Naturally this was queried and they agreed to sort the following morning. We were then allocated a room on the same floor over looking the garden and was very pleasant!
The rooms were clean and tidy and beds clean. We had clean towels twice a week and the beds were not changed.....but that was really not a problem. I'm sure if we had a problem they would have sorted it.
We found out that the hotel has a new wing which the rooms have air-con and fridge's...basically 4 star, so would recommend stipulating this when you book!
The restaurant has lost its sea view to the back of a row of shops but still has a pleasant outside seating area but had only plastic tables and chairs. Breakfast was ok...but exactly the same every morning and was limited BUT was perfectly edible!
Dinner again was limited in choice but again perfectly edible.
The hotel is intended for Germans and dutch and everything including food is geared to them.
The pool is 'ok' but the sun beds were always reserved very early....but we preferred the beach so this was not a problem.
The pool bar is probably a bread winner for the hotel as it is very popular....
All in all a clean,comfortable hotel in a prime location and before you finish you holiday go up to the top floor..there is a viewing area and the night view is breathtaking!

Just got back on the 12th June for 2 weeks and would not be going back to the hotel again. Staff behind the reception,,well bascically get a life..!!!

Hi there when we arrived at the back of the hotel it looked fine, the reception was brand new, straight through the reception you can see the beach and the main stretch, so we new straight away we wouldn't have to go far..
There is an old block and a new one to this hotel, we only found this out when we wanted to change rooms because there were 4 of us including an infant with cot space and we just had to change rooms. We were taken to a new block on the side of the hotel which is yellow, they were brand spanking new ,en suite bathroom for me and my partner the separation with French doors, is was the bees and knees. We paid an extra
