Lindsey visited the Komodor Hotel, Dubrovnik, Croatia in May 2004
The friendly, helpful staff at the Komodor were worthy of a 5 star hotel. The food was surprisingly good and different every night. Great location. Executive rooms great, although the basic rooms are very small. Definitely to be recommended.

Scotty stayed at Komodor Hotel in October 2003
The Hotel Komodor is a hidden gem situated close to all bars shops and restaurants. The hotel looks quite basic from the outside, but to be frank, its like a tardis inside, the large restaurant area belittles the basic reception area, and the food caters for all tastes, the staff are very friendly. All rooms sleep upto about 4 and are very light and airy, some rooms on the front of the hotel will overlook the sea and the small but adequate poo area, where there are ample seating area. The Pool itself is situated on the first floor, directly above the front door, so some slippy areas on the doorstep might be a problem.
The hotel is sitauted directly next to the new Hotel Uvala and directly opposite the highly inferior Hotel Vis, and the ...
beach is about 5 minutes walk. There is a nice selection of bars and shops within walking distance, but the nearest cash point is quite a walk away, so Croatian Kuna\'s in cash is recommended.

Overall a very good stay, nice sitaution where you are in a quiet area but if you want the nightlife, its there too within touching distance, I\'d definitely go again.
