very very clean,entertainment at night more or less nothing to do,beach kept clean, sea clear although they do have lots of sea urchins in shallow water you have to have shoes on your feet before walking in the sea. resort needs alot more going into it.they are doing there best since the war.it is still very picturesque

Very quiet, but only 25 mins by bus to Dubrovnik, and 40 mins from the airport.
Slano itself is incredibly quiet, but has a lovely Marina, one or two shops including a supermarket, and a couple of restaurants - check out the Mirakel[?] in particular. If you are staying at the Hotel Osmine, it is a 15 minute stroll along the beach path - worth it for the views alone!

Slano is very much a one trick pony, with the Hotel Osmine its flagship hotel. Great for a relaxing holiday with the odd trip out / boat excursion.
