The old town of Trogir is great - very oldy worldy with a lovely main square where the cathedral is. We had a wondeful evening here, after having a fantastic fish meal in a little courtyard restaurant, we sat at a bar in the square and listened to some live music - wondeful evening - fantastic setting. he one thing we were a little dissapointed in was that in the brochure it appeared you could do more trips - to places ...
like Dubrovniv and the lakes - which we really wanted to do. But it was just too far - Dubrovnic was around 5hrs by bus. Split qas well worth a visit though, and we caught a ferry to one of the islands. All in all we thouroughly enjoyed this area of Croatia, but felt we saw much of what we need to in a week, and if we visited Croatia again, we would try a different area.
