Do not try the Italian. Not great and far too salty
If your ok with staying round pool and doing Thomson trips it's a good hotel but outside there is very little to do a few restaurants but very little else.

may have been the time of year but found it to be very dusty not much going on at allentertainment wise very boring in the evenings beach was not to bad nothing going on very quite would definatly not go to limasol again

prom was kept quite clean but the side streets were abit mucky seemed very dusty was it just the time of year
no entertainment near to thearsinoe wasquite boring to be honest beach was alright in parts nothing special very simple and plain went on a glass bottom boat trip dont waste your money you must hire a car to get out and about it is cheap went to larnaca much better than limasol idoubt it very much if i or my party will return to limasol or the arsinoe hotel again but would certainly go back to cyprus

Probably only 30% of restaurants were open and not that many that we liked the look of. We had about three good meals out of seven.
Didn't like Limassol at all, was just a busy dual carriageway with your usual grotty souvenir shops selling the same old thing. No nice shops that we found anyway.
There was a very nice restaurant called The Brewery which we went to twice, this was quite expensive but worth the extra.

we visit limossol in november which is the winter season it appears to attract less visiters each year and is becoming to look abandand and the streets are empty.
the pavements are not repaired and are in a dangerous state
coursed buy road vehicles including lorry's running over and parking on the pavement. the compleat area is becoming

As we travelled in November a lot of the resort was closed for the winter. There were 3 bars open and a few restaurants, although we didn't visit any restaurants. Since our last visit, about 9 years ago, the resort has gone downhill a fair amount. It is quite scruffy and dirty. Needs some serious renovation as there are 3 good quality hotels next to one another and the resort lets these down.

I found the resort to be very clean & I saw plenty of bins for rubbish.
Beaches were lovely & was reasonable to hire sunbeds & umbrellas.
Plenty of bars & restaurants - even McDonalds, Burger King, KFC & Pizza Hut for those who dont like to sample restaurants.
We took the bus to Limassol castle for 80 cents & walked it back along the promanade which would recommend.

Resort looked clean, entertainment was just like a town in this country, bars, pubs, clubs etc, beach and sea were lovely. Wouldnt visit here agin, purely because of how busy it was.

the beach was ok. We went late in the summer, so was quite empty. Most of the people we saw were locals. Clean enough, but could have been better. Lots of bars/taverners along the front for beer and food, which was good.
Cats abounded. Everywhere we went there were stray cats. Sat down for a meal and they would be round hunting for leftovers.
Evenings the bars had either music or football on television (good for the rugby).
