This was our 4th visit to the hotel (over a 6 year period - we do go to other places...). The staff are always welcoming, very thoughtful, polite and generally just great people.
A number of people we spoke with did not like the entertainment offered in the evenings...I will keep my thoughts to myself on that one! Whe in Rome ...and all that...
Great time had, will visit again...

We were very happy with hotel. It was light and airy and lovely and cool after walking in the intense heat.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was plentiful and varied, suiting every taste.

The first week we had no trouble with loungers around the pool but the second week it was hard to find an empty one.

In such a large hotel it should be possible to have a reserve system but that could only be done if there were enough loungers to go around.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Just got back yesterday, had a wonderful holiday and a huge reason was the hotel. The place is immaculately clean, with good facilities and friendly staff.

We stayed half-board and so had breakfast and evening meal at the Odysseus Restaurant. The food was very good, a choice of nine main meal options every night. It was very meat orientated though, quite exotic and so those with blander taste buds (i.e. me) might struggle for something to eat. (I ended up with a diet of mashed potato and watermelon! However my boyfriend loved the food). Two nights a week they have theme nights and move all the tables and chairs outside by the pool, with little candles everywhere. These nights are definitely a must, the pool all lit up at night is gorgeous.

For breakfast there was just as much choice as there was for evening meal, cake, cereal, fruit, toast, full English the list goes on.

For lunch we ate at the pool-side restaurant,

First time to Paphos and this hotel. It's now an over 16's hotel (first year as this category) which is great for couples as it's very quiet, although sometimes too quiet.

The hotel was apparently refurbished a few years ago. It really is stuck in the 1970's! Although the rooms were clean they are quite small and we paid extra for a sea view room which we had, although on either side of the hotel there is wasteland which isn't very appealing to the eye.

We stayed B&B and were glad of this as breakfast was the best meal. The lunchtime meals at the Regina Restaurant were overpriced and just like a self service cafeteria, the staff couldn't speak very good English (although I realise you don't go to Cyprus for this) and they offer you chips with everything!

The so called theme nights were terrible, no effort was made by the hotel/staff compared to other countries we have visited and we weren't aware that mashed potato, brussel sprouts and carrots were particular to Italy or Asia?! We were also sure that the olives etc were brought out at every meal and were not changed on a regular basis.

The hotel location is about 2km from the town itself which isn't too bad as there is a bus service into town for 50c, even here though we found it to be very commercialised and don't wish to visit Rose and Crown pubs etc on holiday?!

The hotel has an older clientelle who are happy to go back year after year. Although we do object at getting up at the crack of dawn to reserve your sun bed with your towel. We arrived down at the pool/garden area on our first day after the welcome meeting at 10.30 and could not find a bed.

The entertainment in the evening is terrible, it consists of a very poor singer on a yamaha keyboard a few nights a week. We realise that people may not want entertainment all their holiday but it would be nice to be given the option.

Negative points - food at lunch time average and expensive, food on a night (bought 4 nights half board for

Very friendly hotel. Quiet. No queues for food and choice of tables. A very civilized way of dining. Towels are provided for the pool and beach area which is a bonus and means you can take extra clothes although this is not mentioned in holiday brochures.!! If you like to brew up in your room take coffee with you as they only provide enough for the first day. Had planned to eat out on a couple of occasions even though we were half board but the food was very good in the hotel.

Hired a car for a few days. Bit of a trek into Paphos Harbour and town but buses pass regularly outside the hotel. Took a coach tour into the Troodos Mountains booked via our rep but this was twice the price that was charged in Paphos.

Cracking hotel, thats full of regulars that keep coming back year after year.

Would suit all ages, although the nightlife is quite a long walk! Would recommend a taxi ride.

Bit disappointed with the beach as kept hitting rocks when i went in to swim. But I understand they are in the process of removing them!

Would certainly recommend the hotel.
