Get a ground room floor as it will help as there are no lifts to the other floors so it can be a bit of a walk with a pram.
Make sure on the strip you visit the Meze restaurant with the funny symbols in the name. It is one of the best Meze places in Protaras. Also Molti was a great restaurant to stay in.

Beaches
Protaras is a lovely resort with plenty of beaches - some busier than others. The resort itself is a long strip of taverns, bars, restaurants, shops and a couple of clubs. It is mainly pedestrianized but has one-way traffic. There are bars specifically aimed at children including a Macdonalds and Flintstones (really fun themed pub). Plenty to see and do including mini parks and crazy golf. There is a small water park in Protaras, which we didnt visit but we did visit Waterworld in Ayia Napa which was brilliant and had loads of rides.
Very clean resort with a lot of entertainment and places to eat.
Would recommend hiring cycles and getting out and about. very safe as there are cycle lanes.
We cycled to Ayia Napa, took about 45 mins, but you can stop for drink on way.
