We spent two weeks in this hotel (room number 3168) from 12th till 26th of May 2008. It was the second time that we chose that wonderfully located hotel (our first visit was in last October) and sure not the last time...Each time we are there, we feel ourselves as a VIP guests.
All the staff in the hotel are very fiendly and helpful, I would like to mention Mr. Hassan and his entire team in the Tiran restaurant, they were always great: the food and the service was ecxellent. I had an opportunity to visit the kitchen and I was totally shocked how clean and organised was it.
We loved the Egyptian evenings the most! Really good and nice programs with very good food!
It is for sure, that we will returning again (hopefully this year:) and will stay in Conrad. I would warmly recommend this hotel for anyone.

We have traveled to this hotel more than 10 times. We are frequently, at least once a year there, sometimes more often, because we like so much the locatation, the way we are treated by all staff, no matter whether it is the front desk, bar, or dining room. I know they can cook terrifcally, but with all the russion guests, who waste so much food i suppose it is diffucult to keep up to the past. That is a bit unfortunate. Other than that we recommend it unconditionally.

Arrived at hotel at about midnight after a smooth check- in we were shown the restaurant where we expected to find a small selection of food. To our surprise there was a full dinner menu waiting for all the guests that had just checked in. We were then shown to our rooms. Our booking included a beach view but we were given a sea view which is at the side of the hotel not directly facing the beach. We were changed to what we had requested the next day as soon as a room became available,The hotel rooms were of an adequate standard and we had a great view of the beach with no noise pollution. Please be aware that some of the balconies have a shared walkway as did ours but we were not disturbed at all during our 2 week break.
Reception staff very helpful and well mannered especially Amr Sorow, he could not do enough for us always smiling, asking how our stay was going and checking that all was ok. One night we asked for an extra bed sheet and someone came to the room within 20 min with a selection of sheets,pillows and even asked if we were happy with the bed. Internet is available but only buy the amount of time that you need as you have to use it all at once. Reception manager Mohammed was extremely helpful when we had a problem with the internet and always had a nice word and smile to offer.
There is a huge choice of food every day, something for everyone at all times of the day. The only downside is that they dont serve fresh orange juice with breakfast, you have order it seperately and costs about

The genuine cheery personalities of all the staff at the Conrad made for a happy environment for any type of holiday; nothing was ever too much trouble for them.
On arrival, our shower was not working adequately phone call to reception resulted in a visit from maintenance within 10 minutes. A replacement shower head was fitted. Very satisfactory.
All the food was of good quality, not always exciting, but, fresh and well presented. Served by some of the nicest waiters you could wish to meet. I have mentioned this to friends on my return, to be met with the skeptical "they only do it for the tips! "
I for one, think I could spot false niceties. They were warm welcoming and genuine, trying to enjoy themselves even though they seem to work a ridiculous amount of hours.
The decor is very tasteful and always immaculate throughout the whole complex.
The entertainment was great fun for all ages, and Rami and all his team tried to bring some fun to those that wished to join in and never tired of trying to persuade the less active "of us" to have a go but never to the point of pressure.
Depending on what you look for on your holiday, would very much decide on your viewpoint on the Conrad

We have just returned from the Conrad.
weather was lovely, hot everyday with no clouds in the sky.
The beach is immaculate and the sea is so clear you can see the fish off the hotels jetty which you have to use if you want to get into the deeper part of the sea, as it is shallow for a long way out (very good for children)
The hotel itself was very clean, we felt it could do with a bit of renovation work as it looked abit dated.
The food was nice, always something to eat, lunch and breakfast was especially good. The drinks are another matter, the beer I am told is good, but the other drinks(coctails and wine) are not the best, very strong and very cheap spirts. Drinks also stop at 11pm and food at 10pm so if your hungry or thirsty after this you have to pay for these.
The entertainment team were always pleasant and tryed to get everyone to join in but it was not really our thing, most of the night time entertainment involved the guests dancing (not really entertainment)but they really did try their best and came to see everyone off on departure.
The staff were all friendly, but be careful if your a youngish girl the waiters will take a shine to you!

The only real gripe we have got about our holiday at The Conrad Hotel is that the local alcoholic all inclusive drinks from the bar were not to our liking, it took a while to find a drink which we could tolerate, and no one in our party actually got drunk during the holiday.
The hotel was very clean, I don't remember seeing any rubbish around, the rooms were cleaned every day by a very polite male cleaner.
There are 2 main restaurants, one is visited mainly by Russians and Italians, the other mainly British, we did prefer the latter one as it seemed more relaxed. The waiters work very hard, clearing your plates and getting drinks, they are very friendly and polite.
We did enjoy the food most of the time, there was always a good selection, sometimes the food was cold, but if you let them know, they will replace it.
The hotel location is excellent as long as you only want to go to the beach, there is no problem getting a taxi if you want to go out for the day.
The hotel staff are all very friendly, a small tip does help get you a better service, but most of them do deserve it as they do work very hard.
Entertainment, well, what can I say? Rami, Kimo, Ronny, Ann and Bob, they all worked very hard to keep us happy day & night, it does make their job easier though if you take part in the activities that they are providing for you, it was always the same few guests who were prepared to make the effort and join in the fun. (well done to Steve & Andy who won the dancing competition).
Would we visit this hotel again? YES YES YES but only if Ronny has stopped crying & someone takes that whistle off Kimo! (only joking guys, we love you really).

Went with the Higham's who have already reported on the holiday.
I would just like to add that this is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. You want for nothing, all the staff bend over backwards to help you.
It is spotlessly clean throughout.
We loved it so much, we have emailed the hotel already to look at prices and reservations for this time next year.
My oldest daughter was so impressed she is looking at returning in June to work on the animation team, having been offered a job by Ali, the Animation Manager.
I would just like to add that this is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. You want for nothing, all the staff bend over backwards to help you.
It is spotlessly clean throughout.
We loved it so much, we have emailed the hotel already to look at prices and reservations for this time next year.

The hotel conrad was by far one of the best hotels i've ever stayed at.
The complex was always immaculate, never did i see a single piece of rubbish left for long. the room itself was one of the best i've slept in, cleaned every day to an immaculate standard.
The food was always nice, with a different theme every night and alot of variety.
But what made it was the staff. In the restaurant they were always efficient, funny and always had time to talk. one in particular sameh who looked after us very much. The entertainment staff worked very hard and were always smiling considering how much they worked. but in particular the bar staff in the main bar were amazing, they became our friends especially the 2 mahmouds who looked after us and really made our holiday. Me and my friend are planning to revisit for longer in 4 months.i would reccomend the hotel to families and couples and would guarantee they would enjoy it as much as we did.

Lovely hotel,
Good laid back atmosphere and very helpful and pleasant staff.
Superb location on its own private beach.
The animation team are great fun and keep you entertained.
