If you want a cold, noisy hotel, then this is the one for you!

Guests were wearing anoraks, coats, and layers of clothes in an attempt to keep warm inside the hotel. We asked for a heater for our room, but there were none available to us.

The worst part of the holiday however was the way that the children staying there were allowed to use the main lobby (which is beautiful) as an adventure playground! There were kids roller blading, riding the luggage carts, racing around screaming, any time of day or night. There were no restrictions on them at all, so you had them in the bar until late, running round playing hide and seek etc. There was nowhere for adults to sit quietly with a coffee or a drink without constant noise.

Never again!

This was my first holiday away with my partner and we wanted to get away from every day life and live a life of luxury for a week. That is exactly what we had.

Before we went Egypt everyone kept warning us about the bombs and how it wouldnt be safe and I must admit I was a bit worried about it but as soon as we arrived at the hotel all of my worries soon disappeared. When we arrived at the hotel the coach had to go through a check point and the driver had to produce identification. The coach wasnt allowed up to the hotel doors because of security but as soon as we got our cases there was plenty of help at hand to get the cases to the hotel. As soon as you walk into the hotel it is just fabulous. Check in was really quick and the reception staff are just so helpful.

The room was really clean and spacious. There is plenty of restaurants to choose from and the price is really good. For lunch we paid around

Have just returned from what must have been the best and most luxurious family holiday yet. We have 3 children under 10, and they were well catered for. The snorkelling off the small beach/jetty was superb and not very intimidating for the children. We saw Giant Moray, swam with turtles, dolphins and over 100 species of fish. All the restaurants were excellent, especially the Jolie Bistro. This was a good time to go as it wasn't swarming with people. The pool area is fantastic. Take some inflatable for the kids as they are very expensive to buy in Egypt.

The hotel is building another wing, which did not affect us. We had 2 intercommunicating rooms which made it like an apartment. However, they are building another jetty and beach which meant that on the days that they were working, the water visibility was poor and you could hear the digger. On one of these days, we went to Sharks Beach for the day which is 5 minutes by taxi - and that was amazing snorkelling! You need aqua shoes though because this beach is rough, but well worth it. Building on Movenpick beach should be complete in three months. Much bigger area to snorkel and for the kids to play in. Dive centre very helpful and equipment for hire is good.

We didn't suffer any upset stomachs and we ate everything, including ice cubes (filtered). It is worth spending extra money on your accommodation - it will make your holiday!

Hotel is very nice. Room we stayed in was HUGE and had 2 king size beds and still enough room for our boys to play football and cricket in. Staff were extremely helpful. Love the "lazy river" pool that allows you to enjoy a lesurely swim around the grounds without feeling you are being watched. Food was reasonably good although the "good" stuff disappeared quickly and sometimes was not available to the later diners. The coral reef provided excellent snorkeling and the sea was refreshing.
The music was poor for first 10 days but a new face improved the quality of the band in the last few days.
