Upon arrival to this hotel the service was fantastic. Check in was smooth and quick and our cases were carried to our rooms for us.

The hotel was always spotless and our rooms were cleaned each morning with clean towels and fresh linen every other day.

The food in the hotel was nice and there was always something we liked. Each night is also themed with one being French and another British etc.

Location fantastic, and to get to the beach you could either walk through the sister hotel over the road or go on the free beach bus. We walked there and caught the bus back. When crossing the road to the Radisson a guard always crosses you safely.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely FANTASTIC, especially those around the pool bars, they all work so hard and are always smiling, joking and laughing and they make a point of knowing your name which was nice.

The entertainment was ok. For what there was it was good but there wasn't much of it although we knew that before we went so we wasn't disappointed as we still had a great time.

We had the best time here and i am actually shopping round for deals to book the same holiday again for next year and we hope to be booked up by the end of this week.

Well what can we say, we have just returned from one of the best holidays we have ever had! Being well travelled we have stayed in countless Hotels around the World, but feel that Golden Resort really was something special!!

If you want a Hotel that is a good all rounder we would recommend that you stay here. First and foremost we have to mention the staff, they are the most friendly, polite and happy people you will ever meet.

Everyone always greets you with a big smile and enjoy practising their English, which can be very entertaining! The Hotel is immaculate and the pools and gardens are kept beautiful. Don't bother taking beach towels to this Hotel as you are provided with clean ones every day at the Pool and Beach.

Don't be put off by any bad reviews on the food as we are fussy eaters but couldn't fault it. There is lots of choice and we enjoyed everything we ate.

The Chefs are always checking that the food is presentable and hot and no-one we spoke to had had an upset stomach.

We found the hotel very clean indeed, the food was disapointing however it was generally hot and all four of us could find something that we liked.

The food was displayed in silver heated trays, this didn't add any 'wow' factor. This was perhaps to ensure the food was hot and the flies away. None off my party were ill and we tryed to eat everything, we all had ice in drinks every day.

The hotel as with most all inclusives is set miles away from anywear, nowwear to walk too, hotel bus was fine to use for visits to Naama Bay.

Staff were very good and tryed very hard for us (even someone on 24hr's to cross us over the road.

Entertainment was dire! The entertainment team are very poor, lovely people but just no idea what we want.

Sometimes entertainment was advertised but never happened. Kids club - what kids club?

Having said all this we did enjoy the holiday, the hotel is lovely, clean and weather was good, I would return here.

Egypt is not the UK or Spain so you wouldn't expect the same type of holiday.

Rooms large & spotless. Well equiped for holiday hotel.

Food varied & good.

Hotel isolated & surounded by building sites.Constant sore throat through dust.Private beach not worth bothering with, unless watching a drilling derrick & pile driver at work is your thing.Swimming only allowed from platform.

Hotel staff excellent.

Entertainment is virtually non existent.

Just returned from two weeks in the Golden Resort in Sharm el Sheikh. The weather was perfect for us fairly hot but with a nice breeze that made it perfect for sun bathing. The staff at the hotel are the friendliest at any hotel we have stayed in. Right from the security guard on the gate who saw us across the road to the sister hotel SAS Radisson, through the cleaning staff, waiters and animation staff. We never saw a miserable face. A special mention to Ramon who kept us laughing all the time.

The food is good with a different themed buffet every night. Tuesday night in the Bedouin Tent is not to be missed, with an excellent BBQ and plenty of other choices. The entertainment in the tent is Egyptian folklore dancing, a whirling dervish (who is amazing) and a belly dancer.

Despite previous reports we found the spirits to be fine.

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and we had a wonderful view over to Tiran Island.

There are two pools, one heated in winter. The upper pool is where all the animation and sport take place but if you do not want this there is plenty of space around the lower pool but this is the one that is not heated.

There is a spa and beauty shop on site and I had a very good pedicure and manicure at a very reasonable price.

We had a walk every day down to the jetty through the grounds of the sister hotel which takes about ten minutes. The views of the fish from the jetty are fantastic even if you do not want to snorkel you can look straight down into the water and see lots of tropical fish.

There is a bar down at the beach which can be reached by shuttle bus or walking especially for Golden Resort customers and you can get a drink or snack there and get beach towels and sun bath on the beach instead of by the pool.

The only downside is the evening entertainment. It is practically non existent. This may be going to alter as the hotels TV channel started to advertise shows and sketches to be held in Ricks Bar the day before we left. Just be sure to pack playing cards and quiz books!

We really enjoyed the Golden Resort and will definitely be looking at going back in the future.

Food not very good although for the first time on any foreign holiday not one of our party was ill.

There was not enough choice and presentation was quite poor all four of us had at least one night where we struggled to eat something.

The reception areas ie restaurant and bar area had abosolutely no atmosphere and there was really nowwhere else to go apart from Ricks disco but having visited it once that was that.

Now for the positive points for any negatative points I have raised the staff here more than outweighed any of the negatives they were the friendliest people I have ever encountered in the one hotel, and I have been to Eygpt before and when I go again I will no doubt be dissapointed in any other hotels staff.

The grounds around the pool are lovely. The rooms are spacious and as everywhere is very clean. Would only consider going back because of the staff.

The comments I have read previous to mine are all spot on.

I have just returned from a weeks relaxing stay at this fantastic hotel.

The weather was spot on, sunshine all day with temperatures hitting 28/29 although by 4.30pm it cools down and the evenings are a bit chilly. We had a huge room which was faultless. security box, mini fridge, full bathroom and large balcony, all kept spotless and clean everyday complete with heart shaped towel displays placed on the bed!!!

Towels for the poolside are provided everyday. The food was also excellent, all buffet style and a large choice so I think you would be able to find something suitable whatever your taste is. Red wine is great and we managed to work our way through the cocktail menu which was all part of the all inclusive deal...must mention Mohamed, the barman at the Lotus bar, he is such a friendly man and will make your drinks as strong or as weak as you require.

Our intention was to have a relaxing week of winter sun and we didnt really venture further than the hotel poolside through the day...Bliss!!

We did make the effort to go snorkling off the jetty which looks a bit steep but is well worth it as the fish you can see are amazing. There is also a health spa on site with gym, sauna, steam room etc (pay extra for sauna/steam room) I had an aroma massaga off the only lady that works there and it was well worth the

We stayed at the Golden Resort for 1 week in January 2007, which was fully inclusive. We had never been to Eygpt before, or had a fully inclusive holiday either.

The hotel was superb. Our room was really huge. The bathroom was luxurious and it even had a bidet. The bed was enormous and very comfortable, with good pillows. Good size balcony as well. T-V with satelite.

The male cleaner came in every day, so the room was spotless and the towell displays were very creative.

The food was excellent. No complaints there, especially the deserts. You've got to try the coconut cake, it was lush, in fact it was very moorish, so forget your diets.

Location was 10 mins from the airport. We used to cross the road and walk to the beach, which didn't take long. The beach was really good and the water temp was warm, so it was ideal for swimming. If you snorkle, then you're in for a treat, as the fish swim right up to you (take an underwater camera). The weather was really hot for the time of year, so take your sun cream.

Staff were fabulous and they could not do enough for you and you never got pestered.

The roads were very good and were the longest and straightest that I've ever seen. I used to run twice a day there and the locals would toot and wave. they were most friendly.

We will be going back in May and hopefully to the same place again. So don't forget, Good Food/Wine-Sun-Sand-Sea and whatever else you get.

Don't miss out on a very lovely place.

Keep On Keepin On and enjoy your holiday there.

The hotel was very clean.

The food was good, plenty of it and topped by lovely cream cakes.

The staff were very helpful, Mohamed and Sayed in the restaurant were very funny and helpful.

The food was diffrent theme every night from English, Italian, Indian and one night was Egyptian night in the ben tent. My husband is quite fussy what he eats but he had no complaints here.

The rooms were cleaned every day, shut your balcony doors about five they clean the plant and a load of smoke comes.

The pools were great and one was heated.

Snack were available between meals but your might be full up with the three main meal times you get ten out of ten.

Can't fault this hotel.

Staff are brilliant can't do enough to help you.

Large rooms and very clean and the gardens are lovely.you would never starve at this hotel, plenty to eat and the food is hot.two very good size pools.

Would like to go back next year to see what it will be like when the aqua park and extra rooms have been completed.

Lovely hotel if you want to chill.
