we went for 11 days, the 1st 7 days we didn't get any sleep as work men were working above us, finally got room changed for last 4 nights. room was alot better but there was a road above our room so could hear cars etc driving over us. the food was awful!! they would do chicken, pasta, rice and fish everyday and would just rotate the sauces on them. every few days they would do steak. only the italian restaurant was open, the thai wont be open till mid next year we were told. the animation team when drunk would try take advantage of girls who were drunk, sometimes succeeding. i saw this happen myself! everything is expensive to buy, for example a packet of crisps were in english money

I am an extremtly picky eater but I managed to find something different to eat every day and thought the food was excellent.The hotel staff were brilliant and would help you and cater for your every need.you dont just need to tip them to get excellent service, Hossain in the oriental bar was extremly friendly and helpful because I support the same football team and me and my girfriend were friendly towards him. He sorted it so we could watch a match in the bar.The cleaners work awfully hard and were very friendly they would always greet you with a freindly hello.The staff speak excellent english and you can have a laugh with them.The entertainment comes from enjoying the bad karoke and the old couples waltzing around the pool bar. We heard from other guests that the entertainment was bad, its not for everyones taste so we just made our own entertainment.The daytime activies around the pool were fun. The hotel offered a lot of activies for guests such as mini golf, football, vollyball etc.The jetty off the back of the hotel was amazing, for geusts of the hotel it was free to get on it.

We have just returned from a brilliant weeks holiday at the Royal Albatros Moderna. The weather was wonderful, hot and sunny, no clouds and with a constant breeze. The nights were comfortable, but some nights needed a lightweight cardigan or sleeves. The hotel is spotless, cleaned throughout everyday inside and out, including the pools and jacuzzi! Food is great if you can't find something to suit you here you won't find it anywhere, so much choice, would need to be a very fussy eater to complain!!! The hotel beach is shale and a bit tough on the bare feet so don't forget your croc's or sandals. Its a pleasant walk late afternoon along the jetty out to sea, where you can swim,snorkel and sunbathe, water very shallow about 1m deep for a good 100m out, very safe and warm, much warmer than the hotel pools!!! Brr....rh!!! The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful with a good sense of humour, considering the very long hours they work, nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The entertainment was not first class, but gave us many a laugh, if taken in the lighthearted manner that I think its intended. Yes there is building work going on around the hotel, but this wasn't a problem and can only improve this lovely hotel for the future. We had a really enjoyable relaxing holiday here. just what the doctor ordered and will definitely return in the future.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. And to our surprise most recognized us from previous visit which made us feel very welcome on arrival-as did welcome drinks and surprises in our room. Everyone said 'hello' when they saw you, made you feel like you were the only guest in the complex.
The Service from all Staff members were more than excellent. They catered for any request we made and did so with the upmost care and efficiency. We spent many a happy hour at the beach bar, pool bar & lounge bar being entertained by Sharky & Hany & Bob.

The main restaurant was good, food was nice and waiters were helpful, sociable and never rude. We have also visited fish restaurant, which we appreciate. Food was delicious. My daughter is vegetarian but she could always find something to eat.
The people working in the hotel were very hospitable they spoke good English, very easy to understand. The hotel facilities were very good and the whole place was exceptionally clean including the bedrooms.

We have recently returned from a 2 week stay at this resort and enjoyed every minute. I was worried when I read some of the comments of people who had previously stayed at the Hotel, but everything was superb.

This hotel was absolutely first class. This was the first time my Husband and I had been to Egypt but we are already planning to go back this year.

this was by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed in, meant to be 5 star i am afraid it should only be 2 star. the food was disgusting so bad that most people had food poisoning, then the hotel pharmacy ripped you off charging
