I had read this page before I travelled to the 3 Corners, so I knew what to expect, and if nothing else it proves the hotel is consistent in its approach and I had very few surprises, but I will tell you all.

Hotel & grounds very clean - even at the pool the pool attendant was sweeping up leaves around the edge.

Tip the pool man small but often (15 Egyptian will suffice), he will then save you your favourite sunbeds, store your lilos / pool balls / rush to help you put up your umbrella etc. overnight to save you carrying them back and forwards to your room.

Pool itself very clean - good for families max depth only 145 cm, smaller walk in area at one end perfect for small children. Room cleaning very good every day, sometimes he would make animals out of the towels.

Even though we travelled over the half term, there were very few children there.

English, Belgian and French guests in a fairly even 1/3 split - the staff prefer the English as apparently our European "friends" are arrogant!

Very hot all the time, we went for 14 days and every one cloudless. During the day there was often a breeze which made things more bearable - it was hot to sit on the patio and eat breakfast at 7.30 AM, between 11 and 4 would be for the serious sunlovers. After 4 is cooler, but the sun has gone from the pool area by 5.50PM even in June. So its worth getting up early to maximise your time in the sun. Nights very sultry, the daytime had vanished.

Golf Course - not finished, no sign of work going on with it.

Safety, I have never felt as safe as I did at the 3 Corners, guards on every entrance to the hotel and a couple inside the grounds. I know with terrorist attacks Egypt has been hit a few times in the last 18 months, but personally never felt safer.

Food - a good mixture to cater for most tastes - children not particularly well catered for. Always a pasta dish, potatoes, meat/fish, vegetables - always plenty of food available. Tip the "omelette man", you will know who he is when you first have breakfast - tip him a couple of times a week, again 10-15 Egyptian and he will give you an extra egg, extra cheese etc.

Animation team good, found it hard to find many volunteers for their activities - they are not my thing, but a polite no on the first couple of days, and then they will not hassle you again, or they will say something like no waterpolo today? My stepsons girlfriend was celebrating her 18th birthday when we were in Egypt and the Animation team presented her with a cake.

Evening entertainment, I wasn't expecting much and there was very little, a few poor shows and a Dj playing R N B.

Internet access available for 25 Egyptian for 1/2 hour or 40 for a hour. Guests seemed to be second to the hotel staff in who was allowed to use it.

Gym - well equipped but it always smelt awful, saw very few people using it.

At the hotel there are a number of shops, the only one with a fixed is the Mario Market - cigarettes 4.50 (45p) for 20 L&M. Yes

Have just returned from El Wekala and although this hotel is very clean and in a fantastic location i would not visit this hotel again.

I was very disappointed after reading the reviews on this hotel as I found the reception staff very unhelpful and didnt speak very good english, I asked for a wake up call on two occasions and both times didnt receive them.

My 17 year old daughter was very upset by the unwanted attention from some of the hotel staff, we visited the al a carte restaurant which was possibly the worse meal Ive ever had and had to wait 2 hours for our food, we travelled with Longwoods and never once saw the rep we had to rely on a very nice lady who was the guest relation officer for any help.

On a positive note the hotel is as Ive said very clean and the staff work very hard, the lack of evening entertainment wasnt a problem as we went for a week of rest and relaxation, the beach is absolutely lovely and we had a great day at dolphin reef in isreal, I've travelled to Egypt many times so im very aware of the culture of this country but I feel there are better hotels than this one.

We took a last minute to Taba Heights and the Three Corners, I had read the reviews and mostly agree with them.

The entertainment was disappointing but expected this as after reading reviews. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room was kept well, reception staff messed up our checking in so we ended up with an upgraded duplex room which was spacious and comfortable.

The food was O.K plenty of choice but luke warm, the dine around option was good and we used this twice. The highlight has to be the beach pool, we and some friends used this every day. We all got the shuttle bus down to the beach (too far to walk) and the beach has a pool, sun beds and wind breaks everywere never packed.

Tip the pool boy and he made sure we had beds saved with towels everyday and he stored our lilos every night. There is a nice bar which serves food which is cheap, hot and plentiful. Bedrooms have hairdryers but no tea making and the coffee is diabolical around the hotel fridge and safe in rooms.

Water is available everywere but do take high factor sun cream it is very hot and dry there. There is no chance what-so-ever of the golf course being finished this decade so leave clubs at home. No mozzies which is a joy. Some small shops on site selling usual stuff but nothing else for retail therpy.

Trips out with first choice I found very expensive so did not bother.

For somewhere for a quite rest and relax it is fine but two weeks would have sent me mad. Nothing much for teenagers, young kids have a club which seems too work hard to look after them.

All in all o.k but not outstanding would not go back because of location. Beware of the airport, tiny duty free which stocks minimal stuff, no smoking once in and through customs, would hate to be delayed there which happens often.

Take loo roll as it was not supplied without paying for it in airport also smelt awful.

Just returned from the Three Corners and already trying to book to go back.had an absolutely fantastic time.

The staff can't do enough for you.

The rooms are really clean and have a fridge, TV. and hairdryer. They are air conditioned which you really need as is it so hot. The cleaner often makes animal shapes out of the towels which fascinated our 11 year old daughter.
A laundry service is available and is very cheap. We used it twice.

The food in the restaurant is good but did get a bit boring in the second week as they only seem to do a one week menu. Not a problem as you can excellent snacks which all come with chips and salad from the beach and pool bar. You do have to pay but on average

Just arrived back from Three Corners, Taba Heights - stayed for 1 week from the 7th March 2006. This hotel was brillant, great value for money.

Everywhere was well maintained and kept very clean. The complex layout was very safe and secure. Very quiet and relaxing location.

Food-brill. Staff could not do enough for you and yes we met the "Tom Cruise" lovely character all the staff were excellent. Take a wander around the little alleys on the complex there is more than appears to be. Try the Chez Pascal resturant- excellent. Def go back !

Had a brilliant here. For a week away in a relaxing place, this hotel is ideal.

All of the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Room was cleaned everyday, and they even left animals made from towels at the end of your bed and in the bathroom!

Didn't have one complaint about the food. There was plenty of selection at meal times, and the salad bar was just fantastic, even at 10pm even though it had been out since 7 the salad was always fresh.

The bar staff were particulary friendly. All drinks at the Peanuts Bar are all local beers, spirits and wines, but they have a good selection.
Watch out for the Tom Cruise look a like!

I wasn't all that bothered on this holiday about the entertainment, but I would say that this was the only part that would need improvement.
The Lads and ladies on the Animation team were great though. They played cards with us a few nights (teaching us some Egyptian games), and really made you feel welcome.
There is plenty to do around the pool in the day if you don't just want to bake in the sun. They do stretching in the mornings and aqua gym and water polo and volley ball twice a day. If you don't want to take part they don't make you and just like coming round having a chat.

I was up around 7ish most mornings to get a decent sun lounger, but if you are a late riser then the guy who gives out the towels will find you some spare beds and drag them to a space.

All in all a great place to go and I would definately reccomend it if you fancy a week doing not a lot.

I stayed All Inc for 1 week in Feb. The hotel is very well cleaned throughout.

The food is a bit hit and miss, you either want to eat everything or you won't want any of it. Pasta is on the menu everyday.

The location of the hotel is ok, it does state it is away from the beach, but a shuttle is provided from first thing in the morning till sunset which is good because it is a 10 min walk to the beach but 30 min back up the hill to the hotel!!!!

Overall the staff were Ok, but if you are travelling alone then be aware that you will get more attention from the staff of the hotel and shops than you will probably want. All but 2 of the staff are male and along way from home.

Entertainment?? What entertainment is the answer to that. You also beware that there is only one bar open at night which is part of the All Inc, so all the guest have no choice were to go if you are All Inc. It is dull and boring. The alcohol is not great, and it does not serve snacks if you get hungry.

But if you do go there you must try Chez Pascal, it serves the best food I have ever tasted. Across from the Chez Pascal is a bar which serves great vodka drinks. These places need to be advertised more as they are in the Three Corners resort. You will recognise the waiter as he also works in the pool bar during the day.

It is having a golf course built there at the moment, once this is open I don't feel that this would be a good place to go to again as it really doesn't cope to well at the moment.

Nothing too much trouble, chef would cook something special if there happened to be nothing you liked which is very unlikely as food variety excellent.

Tom Cruise at the pool bar very funny, measures got larger the more you bantered with them.

Hotel very clean towels provided both in the room at the poll and beach small var at the beach with free soft drinks, water, tea or coffee could purchase food again excellent.

What a fantastic place. The hotel was so lovely, the food was great the place was so clean and nothing was to much trouble for the staff we made some great friends. We went for Xmas and they worked so hard to make the time enjoyable for us, I would certainly recommend this place without hesitation.
