We arrived at this amazing hotel near Luxor and it is truly an oasis in the middle of nowhere! However it is a paradise for a couple looking to relax and see the sites without visiting a horrible '5*' hotel on the banks of the Nile.
We had a fantastic time, a 30 minute taxi to Luxor, see the amazing sites, meet interesting people and then a taxi back to the hotel to spend time in the lovely pool, fantastic service, romantic rooms and enjoy the sounds and smells of the real Egypt and not the tourist Egypt.
If you want to explore, enjoy your own time together and enjoy this wonderful country for what it is I can honestly recommend you visit this hotel and boycott the hideous buildings ruining the view of the Nile.
Food is wonderful, service is honest and genuine, wine (as with most places in Egypt) awful, wonderfully quiet and very, very romantic!
My wife will ensure we return and for once i will not complain!
