I booked this hotel because it was close to the centre of Earl's Court but in a quiet road. It is also handy for the Royal Albert Hall where I was attending a concert, and the Museums of South Kensington are about a ten minute walk away. Earl's Court underground I about 400m. As soon as I entered the hotel I felt relaxed because the man on reception gave me a huge smile. It is so nice to be treated like a human being and not just a number. He asked if I knew about their Good Night's Sleep policy, which I didn't, and described the hotel's facilities without it sounding like a recitation, whilst ensuring that I had the quiet room I had asked for. During my stay the housekeeping staff were helpful, efficient and friendly but unobtrusive and I left feeling thoroughly refreshed.
