Try St peters beach, turn right at main road, few hundred yards up the road on your right. Great beach side restaurant with nice food and free sunbeds (skaltsounis restaurant)

Very quiet resort. Not a lot of party people at the end we stayed at which is close to Malia. I loved it. Plenty of good food and places to go. I'd say this is a great resort to have as a base if you want to do trips and for people like us, in our forties, who don't want the heavy clubbing thing.

I'd definitely recommend this resort

We only ventured into Kavos at tea time ish and one morning,it was clean and quiet at that time, apparently it comes alive about 11pm! cant comment on bars etc or beach. Not a lot of shops but enough for prezzie shopping,t-shirts etc

Kavos is great. Tons to do during the night, and the odd attraction for the daytimes too. Its noisy, expensive and in your face - but if your looking for a party atmosphere, you will find it! Foods very good if you find the right restaurant, the water-park was great fun, and the boat excursions are good too.

Beach is only average to be honest, but every pool we tried was clean and had a good atmosphere.

Would definately go again!

The room wasnt huge but we spent most of our time in the sun or in the bars (which are so so so close!! thats a good thing)
For breakfast we could have gone to the pool bar but we crossed the road to the Net Bar every morning for an amazing English breakfast and a cup of tea!

The room was clean when we found it! but it easily got a bit messy inthe bathroom as the towels only get changed a few times a week and the shower has no curtain... thats a european thing we think :)

We only ate our amazing breakfasts there but we saw others eating quite happily and the cocktails were brilliant! theres a super market on site as well so things like toilet roll and pot noodles are on tap!

the location was fantastic. with a fantastic kareoke bar next door and te net bar over the road, thats a great start to the night, only a 5 min walk away you are in the centre of the Kavos Strip!

The hotel staff were lovely, the pool guard was a lovely friendly local and the only rule he really enforced was 'at night, if your going in the pool, you have to buy a drink first'. the bar men at the pool and at the net bar were absolute sweethearts!

we missed out on the entertainment (booze cruises etc) because we chose a cheap option (flights&hotel!) but everyone seemed to have so much fun! and i wish i had gone... although it sounds expensive! the music was great and went on all day and night, you might get sick of the playlist but we didnt!

I plan to go back here next summer. In fact i wanted to move in.
If youve got kids or you want to have a quiet week away, then this isnt the place for you. If you want a wild few weeks or just a great time and a couple of good cocktails this is perfect.

An amazing amazing holiday.

Bring on Kavos 2010!

ps. watch out for pick pockets in the street... we didnt get caught out but we saw some one else get 20euros stolen!

The beach was rubbish, but there are decent ones within easy travelling distance - ask a rep! There are some fantastic nights available, but not buying from the reps. You can get ripped off with those but you can have fantastic nights without their help! All of the PRs get you cheap drinks deals and the hypnotist in Face bar is hilarious!! One of the best holidays I have ever had and I will definitely be going again.

Kavoooooos!! The resort is fab i was working at Memphis its 1 of the best resorts iv ever been to! Although it does smell where in Greece dont? Exactly nowhere! The beach is very poor but it is getting done up some time this year! How ever there is no watersports on the beach apart from pedlows, how ever they is the crazy speedboat that last 2hrs which i recomend every1 go's on! Kavos as got some of the best bars and clubs how ever DO NOT get pushed into goin on a bar crawl with ya reps!! They are 100% rip off!! Every bar that u go in put the pricess up on drinks!! 5 euros each glass! Instead of 2 for 5 euros! Also threw ya reps they sell tickets to go to the big night clubs! Dont get them from them again they put the prices right up!! Get them from the workers from out side the venue!!

entertainment is strickly for the 18-30s thier is nothing for familys.

we were sold this holiday as a lively but family resort it is not this is a resort for 18-30s we have been all over greece on holiday but never to a place like this dont go here if u have children under 18.
