We stayed here for 2 weeks. Air Con very expensive at 60 euro. Hotel very basic although clean enough. Room was quite small although we had paid for luxury double room. Location good near enough nightlife but still quiet enough to sleep etc. Food quality Ok but service like school dinners and choice very limited. Chose not to eat breakfast it was so poor. Staff friendly enough. Pool area quite nice and very clean. Wouldn't go back though and wouldn't recommend. Overall very basic no frills hotel. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed

stayed at the alkion for 11 nights oct 5 th to 16 th food was very good with a good selection of dishes location just right offf the main drag but only couple of minutes walk away reckommed shakers for a good qquiz and palatzo next door for free internet keep kids ocupied while i watched football great welcome in all places rep was great thaks nikki would definatly visit again

this was our first time to corfu or anywere in greece and we were a little unsure as to what we were going to get,but it was great we stayed half board the food was fine offering some local dishes and served quickly.the staff were very freindly and helpfull espesialy in the bar with christos and spiros!the hotel was very clean and situated just back off the road not far from the main drag,we had traditional greek dancing and a good range of entertainment, and stayed in the bar most nights somthing we dont usualy do .i would definatly go back to this hotel and recomend it to anyone

Brilliant, very friendly, family run hotel, rooms cleaned/towels changed 6 days a week, Food: waiter service, always hot good choice (4)of evening three course meal, breakfast disappointing as only choice of cornflakes, croissant or yogurt served with orange juice 2 pieces of toast and 1 cup of coffee but you could buy cooked breakfast for 2.5 euro if wished and quite adequate. Entertainment usual for hotels (bingo, quizz,show once a week) but good fun, staff worked extremely hard and did a party night on our last night. Well situated away from the strip in Sadari but not to far to walk if you wanted alternative bars etc.Close to beach. Local Bus stop just outside hotel, Would definately visit this hotel again. 11 yr old daughter enjoyed and made many new friends both on holiday and staff (very child freindly)Well done Alkion 8.5 out of 10.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and found hotel staff very friendly and always happy to help.
Food was always very good with lots of choice and always hot never had to wait long for it to be served.
Rooms were cleaned daily and clean towels every day if required.
Pool was always kept to a high stanard and never had to get up early to get sunbeds always plenty.
I would defently recommend this hotel

We would definately go back to this hotel it was outstanding. The staff we fantastic and went out of thier way to help. Rooms were cleaned every day. There was a good choice of food which was very varied. I cant say enough good things about this hotel I highly recommend it to anyone.
