Altough initially, the hotel was 4 star in appearance and we were greated by a friendly night porter the holiday did not live up the our intial expectations.
Unfortately our first night's sleep(following a night flight) was a rather broken one to say the least. The whole hotel seems to echo with voices, doors banging and the continual scrape of furniture being moved around. When we inquired about changing rooms the Sybil Faulty toned receptionist was barely interested in our request.
In addition to this please to not look forward too much to a day round the pool as the facilities only cater for a fraction of the hotel's capacity. Although a plus point is that the beach is only a short walk away.
After receiving a letter from our rep upon arrival requesting our flight details we recieved no further communication regarding our holiday and were very much left to sort things out ourselves.

We stayed in room 107, the apartment was very clean, the towels were changed every other day, the bed linen every two days. The rooms were cleaned everyday.
The location was a short walk from Amoudi beach which is a lovely beach but gets very busy, we prefered to travel out to Almyros beach by taxi (approx 7 euros)which had good facilities for the children.
It is a short walk to the marina and lake.
It would be very difficult if you had walking difficulties as there are plenty of steps to take you to the seafront.
The hotel staff were helpful and tried their best.
It is a shame there is no entertainment/bar in the evening as this would be ideal for evenings if you don't fancy going out.
We would definitely visit again.
