The bungalow Greek style rooms were basic but adequate having a fridge and air conditioning with good views from the balcony over the surrounding areas. The hotel was situated in a quiet area ensuring a good nights sleep. Rooms were cleaned every day. On the down side the phone didn,t work in the room, the shower head had to be held in place by hand and hot water was somewhat a luxury when available(hard to determine when that would be exactly).
The staff were courteous, friendly and only too eager to advise on local information and organise taxis.
We went half board and found the breakfast dreadful. Breakfast was 7-10 and the first morning we arrived down at around 9 0clock to slim pickings and what was left was very basic( a toaster wasn\'t even on hand!). Thinking we had arrived down ...
too late the first morning we tried the earlier approach the 2nd morning and didn\'t really find a big improvement hence we ate breakfast out the remainder of the time. The evening meal was edible despite the cuppa soup for starter. Despite this i had paid for some snacks from the bar a few times which proved to be very tasty(try the special omlette).
The pool area was very clean although i would say sun loungers are in short supply so get down early! Entertainment was non-existent in the hotel apart from a plasma screen in the bar area which is a plus for me as i\'d rather go out to find entertainment and come back to a quieter more relaxed accommodation.
The accommodation itself was quite close to the town centre and nearby star beach although the big problem is the hill up to the bungalows(very steep and a bit of a killer if you are carrying anything)
In general we don,t spend a lot of time in accommodation so it was really somewhere to sleep which in this case is probably a good thing. We got a good deal on the package and looking at it now its true that in most cases you get what you pay for. The place was liveable but definitely not somewhere I would rush back to.
