I don't have much to add to the previous reviews (with which I agree) except that all the towel hangers in our bathroom had fallen off the wall. The design wasn't very good. But the room was otherwise excellent and we managed (just) without air conditioning in September. Didn't see any mosquito's despite leaving the patio door open.

Our room was directly opposite the bar so, on football nights, we couldn't sleep before 1 am. Not a complaint, just an observation.

I used the Internet computer each evening. It's also very cheap to use a dial-up connection using a laptop in the bedroom (I did that, too). I had to arrange and pay for for Internet access through Forthnet who kindly replied to all my enquiries in English. However they wouldn't/couldn't give me email access at that time so I had to use webmail for sending (I could receive through my home account).

The complex, (ground, first and second floors)30 odd rooms in all, are situated about 100 mtrs from the main road, slightly uphill from the resort.

Kosmar stated a torch may be required for late night returns, but we never found it neccessary. very early or late season maybe?.

The complex is every bit as good as the website pictures show. Three blocks all looking onto the pool, wide steps and ramp access to the reception area.

Our rooms were on the second and third floor (2 parties). Everything about the place is relatively new and in very good order. Walking in you are greeted with a white room with all matching, modern blue doors, furniture, wardrobes and cupboards. (Our room was large, although our friends room upatairs was slightly smaller).
Double beds are actually 2 singles, but butt together perfectly and are very comfortable. Sheets and upper sheets for the warm nights were clean and changed every 2 or 3 days I think.

Spare light and heavy blankets are in the wardrobe. Bedside lockers and drawers, wall lighting each side and a nice picture finished it off nicely.

The kitchen area is the most basic I have seen in my 3 trips to the Greek isles, but again, good quality. Plenty of drawer and cupboard space. Only 1 large and 1 very small electric ring, sink and small worktop and of course a fridge.

Preparing and cooking food is a challenge, but not impossible. A kettle and toaster would have been very welcome, but are not included (perhaps I should have asked). Crockery, cutlery and pans are provided of course.

That said, resturants are cheap, so you make your choices.
Very large wardrobe, drawers set included a safety deposit box at 20 euros for 2 weeks.

Bathroom was a jewel. Tiled throughout, large illuminated mirror over the sink, shower cubicle with glass doors.

Bath size and hand towels are provided and changed regularly. Toilet rolls provided as well, but I don't think they replace them when empty. Plenty of room and very tasteful.

Sliding patio doors onto a shared balcony, small table and 2 chairs on balcony.
Cleaning is daily (except Sundays i think). You need to be out of the rooms at 10am i was told, so the cleaner can do the business, although one of our party was unwell one day, so we had a word with reception and they left the room that day.

Bar is on the first floor above the reception and away from most of the rooms. Again, nicely finished out, although a little short of variety in the drinks. Fair prices. Ice creams, snacks, breakfast etc available. Co-incidentally, we had breakfast, english style(ish) from a local taverna down the road, about 4 euros and it was ok. Breakfast at the Mastorakis is 7 euros, but its worth every bit extra, believe me.

Music and a large tv in the bar. It was a little quiet in there at times, for some people good, others maybe a little too quiet.

The pool is maybe 15 ft wide, 30ft long, a good size, and about 5ft 6 deep at one end. Small kiddies splash pool at one end. The water quality was fine when we got there, went a little murky over the two weeks, then miraculously went clean again, the day before the new holidayers were due.

Now call me a cynic, but.....anyway, thats one of the only gripes I could have about the place.

Aircon is available. 65 euros for two weeks. Its worth every cent for the comfortable nights sleep it gives you. Keeps the nighttime room temp at about 24 degrees, which I found very comfortable.

Whoever designed and built the complex deserves a pat on the back. It pleasing to the eye, simply but tastefully decorated and well kept.

Car hire is available from the Kosmar rep, via the Mastorakis appts. I think it was 240 euros for a week for a Citroen saxo with aircon, or similar sized car. But there are no other charges at all. If you go into town, it may be just a bit cheaper, but there will be excesses etc if anything goes wrong. I was suspicious at first, but once checked out, it does appear good value, and its delivered and collected from the appts.

Staff were presentable, spoke good English and very polite.
I cant really fault the place at all...perfect

We travelled to the Mastorakis Village in August 2005 as part of a large group of families. The Hotel is located close to the main strip in Aghia Marina and stands out amongst the other Hotels and Apartment Buildings. It is newly built to an excellent standard and a torch was not required during our stay.

The Apartments are situated around the swimmimg pool with ample sunbeds and tables for all. The rooms are cleaned regularly, they are spotless, the air conditioning which is payable for on arrival is very welcome.

The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. There is a small bar on the Upper floor above the reception which serves snacks during the day. There are also a large number of tavernas close at hand that caters for all.

We have already booked to return this Year in August.

The complex was kept clean by the friendly staff.

We had planned to visit many of the tourist attractions on offer but apart from 2 trips to the nearby aqua park the furthest we went was to the supermarket near the entrance of the complex.

The rooms clean and comfortably furnished.

The rooftop bar served snacks all day and the bar stayed open until the early hours don't be put of by this because on the few occasions we went to bed early noise from the bar was not a problem.

We are going back to the Mastorakis village in August 2006

We have known the owners for over 15 years and have always found them a delightful and honest family.

Manolis and his brothers Nikos and Esteredis run the business which includes their first apartments The Olga Studios which is directly on the beach behind their car hire business ANE Tours, which is located in the centre of Agia Marina.

Wives, sons, daughters and cousins all work for the Mastorakis family business.

We were very privileged to see the new hotel in 2004 just after it had been finished. The design and interior fittings were both chosen my Manlois and his wife Elizabeth, it is certainly worth seeing.

The 21 rooms over 3 floors are all overlooking the pool, from the top floor you have a geat view to the Island Theodori. The room on the ground floor next to reception is specially fitted with sliding patio door and slope to front door for wheelchair access for the disabled.

The staff are always very helpful, nothing is a problem. For those that must keep in touch with home a phone is provided in each room and also a wireless internet site in reception

The hotel is quiet and peaceful and certainly not noisy apart from the local cockeral at dawn.

The rooftop bar is always great to come back to after your meal out or if you want the staff in the bar will always cook something for you

Why cook in the apartment when you can eat out cheaply at either Kasandras or Romeos which is just down the road or why not try the restaurants up in the old village, they are all good value.

We also went back at the end of September and are back there this year during June. Please dont come, we want it for ourselves
