The resort was nice and clean, as in all resorts some of the backs of the buildings were rubbhish dumps. We do like the village, having been last year too. There are plenty of lovely tavernas and bars. Nothing else in the way of entertainment. A village more for couples, not geared for families. Only walked down to the beach once just for a change. There is star beach geared for younger, We went past that to a small sandy beach which had a couple of tavernas nearby. Would certainly visit Koutouloufari again but would not go to these apartments. Good tavernas Steki, Calypso, Iokasti, these are alll excellent

very clean resort , good bus service into stallis , malia, etc,also there is a small train to get around on.did not see any entertainment apart from in the hotel.
beach good, you pay 2 euros each for sunloungers, umbrella,lots of places to eat and drink.
would visit resort again.

The main resort is 15 minutes walk from the Hotel and there were loads of Taxi's which were quite cheap we used them late at night because the road back to the hotel is not that well lit. The Resort had quite a few lively bars and restaurants the night clubs were ideal for my 17 year old daughter and friend as they were well policed by the owners and did not stand for the Riff Raff elements at all. One of the cleanest resorts i have been to best one is Rethymnon the beaches are a delight and so clean.

5 min by quad from main strip, loads of bars and clubs! All staff in the resort are very friendly! Would recommend that you get a full head of bleach before you go as you will get more free stuff and attention!

it was a great craic,star beach is the place to go,so much to do there.foam parties,bunje jump,water sports!my favorite was the rings,great laugh! great atmosphere at night,lots of pubs and club!

had a great time in resort, great for young people,
unfortunately my son hired a quad bike, paid for insurance. steering was dodgy, veered off road, hit a wall, owner of shop and staff treatendd my Son with prison, police a beating until he paid 500 euros. ruined his holiday as that was all the money he had left, since read that this is common practice, please do't make the same mistake!
he doesn't hold a full UK driving licence either but that's no problem!! just wait till you take it back with a dent or scratch!!!

This resort is geared more for youngsters than middle aged family folk. It's not quite as bad as Malia but heading in that direction. If you're looking for peace and quiet - go somewhere else.

you can have a quiet one or a wild one in crete its what you make, plenty of bars clubs and restraunts you can party 24/7 if suites

the resort was ok entertainment was directed more to the young but there is still plenty of tavernas and restaurants/bars for everyone pretty clean resort beaches were small so get quite packed
