the hotel was spotlessly clean inside and out with well kept gardens and reception area. we were only staying here due to a overbooking at matamy apartments, we did want self caterting but only bed and breakfast was avaliable.the breakfast was okay but a bit boring after a few days eating the same old things.the location was excellent right on the beach and a short walk into malia or stalis.lots of bars and restaurants very close by. hotel staff were polite and helpful.lots of cctv cameras around felt a bit like big brother watching us! no entertainment and a overall boring amosphere! we would not stay here again because we prefer self catering.

What a fantastic hotel!
We arrived early hours of the morning and wanted to upgrade our room (After reading other peoples reports we took extra money to be able to do this) But we could not upgrade the room, as it was just the security guy on (It was 3am) so please take this in to consideration if you will be arriving at silly o clock in the morning! But 7am the next day we moved rooms and could choose - fantastic room, over looking the sea. I would recommend the upgrade, will cost about

The hotel is spotless. There is a lot of confusion over standard and superior rooms and we ended up paying another

Rooms were clean, we upgraded to a superior room when we arrived - 105 euros this was a slightly larger room & has air con fridge & tv (only 1 english channel -world news & the sound kept dissappearing) but due to the heat the air con was a godsend.
Food was pleaseant - buffet style and it repeats weekly, the menu is printed & in your room so you can see what is being served each night before you go in, breakfast is the normal cont style, cereal bread cheese toast etc.
Hotel sits right on beach at rear with a cracking view nothing in front but green sea, main road just outside hotel
No entertainment when we were there but don't know if this was due to world cup being on at the time, if we have our teenage son with us he would have been bored during the day.
We would definately visit this hotel again, and this resort. 1st time to crete & left a memorable impression
