Just got back from an excellent holiday. Although we didn't spend much time in the apartments apart from sleeping, the staff could not have been friendlier. There is nothing any of them wouldn't do to make your stay as good as they can. Nikos and everyone really helped to make the holiday special.
The rooms are cleaned every few days, and they are good for Greece (I am sure you know what I mean). The little touches were nice, like a bottle of water in the fridge when you arrive and tea bags and milk for that cuppa after a long journey.
There are some lovely restaurants and taverns nearby and none of them are expensive. I recommend Alexanders for a nice afternoon drink and meal. The cocktail bar opposite the apartments serves good cocktails at excellent prices.
All in all, an excellent holiday destination. Next time we go, and we will. We will explore more of the island.

Rooms cleaned only sporadically, and there is no chance of you getting a sun lounger past 8am at peak season. In any case, the pool is awful; cloudy water, and very claustrophobic. The hosts are okay when you arrive, but expect to be largely ignored if you choose not to go to their rip-off barbecue on a Tuesday evening. Oh, and you have to buy air-conditioning, separately, for both bedrooms! Unbelievable really.

Literally just got back from Christina in last few days and totally shocked at the rave reviews it had on other websites and particularly as it was advertised as 3 star Gold Medal Award in brochure.
Maybe we were just very unlucky. Booked a twin bedded studio and on arrival we had the joy of finding this was one of the basement rooms literally opposite the linen/store room.
Not only was it very damp and musty smelling in the actual communal area there, we also had the joy of the maids congregating at 730 am for very loud chats before work.
The noise in our room and smell in the bathroom was awful. Got the impression all apartments drainage and toilet system connected to ours so you were literally waking every time someone had a nature call.
On a positive note English Christina and bar staff were very nice and activities they organised were great for families!
However I wouldn't recommend these apartments if you want a relaxing holiday. Felt I needed another break after the 2wks.

This is by far the best hotel I have stayed in, in Crete.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, and cleaners in greece wake up early to clean so its nice for when you wake up!
