The Apollo Apartments are situated about 2 miles outside the quiet resort of scala on southern coast of kefalonia. The complex is on small promontory that has fantastic view along the coast to Scala and views of Zante in the distance. Most of the apartments have balconies facing the sea. They are quite basic but very clean and have pretty much all you need (including air con). The pool and common areas are kept really well and the whole complex looks lovely. It's very quiet though and the walk into town could be a bit of a challenge for some especially in the heat of the day. If you're looking for quiet get away it's pretty much the perfect location. There's a few taverna's with a ten minute walk if you don't want to go into Scala although a taxi is only 5 euros.
