I stayed in the Arygri for 16 nights and it is the 2nd time I have stayed in the hotel. The room was very clean, my sheets were changed 4 times during my stay and the towels every other day. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help.

I go to Kardamena at least twice a year and love the place. Even though I am late 40's I feel confident to go on my own, it is a youngsters resort and they do stay at the hotel. They can be a bit noisy but they are on holiday too and if you advise the staff of any noise etc, they do something about it. I am booking to go back to the Argyri in May 11 and will probably stay there 3 weeks. Dimitris, Kosta, Emma and Alexi make a great team and make you very welcome. I highly recommend this hotel.

just got back from a lads holiday here and it was the best holiday ive ever been on! we are all so depressed to be back in england! the hotel was amazing, the staff were really helpful should you need them.. the pool was a good size and the area it was in was just great, two min walk from the shop and 3-4 mins walk from the main strip (bar street). they have a big screen for the football and play music all day, the food is great and not badly priced and all drinks are well priced. also the bar is open 24 hours! woooo
not for family holidays as can be very loud and lots of younger people were there! all in all i would love to go back here right now if i had the money!

This apart hotel is a living hell hole.

On arrival we were put into the annex part of the hotel, described in the sunset brochure as a modern relaxing hotel who's annex is 50 meters away.
The truth is its 3 blocks away and in no way connected to the hotel,it is about 800 meters away and next to a restaurant.

The rooms are very sub-standard and are filthy.
After kicking off with the rep(who is really a nice person working in a difficult situation) we were moved to the main hotel, still the rooms were of a very very poor standard.

We had no change of sheets or towels or toilet paper in 10 days, the room was cleaned sort of and bins were emptied but thats all.

The hotel manager was a very arrogant person, he did not like anyone complaining and if you did you just got dirty looks.

The hotel is run on how much they can have you for,84 euros for sunbeds, 3 of us at 6 euros a day,you cannot even take a bottle of water to the pool without him taking it off you and making you buy his water at 400% more than the shops.

The only saving grace is the staff there are very nice, costa and dimeatreous, they make you feel welcome thanks guys.

The rep did a marvellous job, james thankyou, without his help we would of been on the next plane home.

Two other things to note is the noise...shouting, young people all night banging doors ,screaming, and fighting.

And of course the pool, lovely pool where all the bar reps from kardamena come to so it is very very full, so full you can't get in it.

Be warned, this is not a nice place, but if you are unfortunate to get the annex rebook please,it is a hellhole .

I have been to the Hotel Argyri three times. 2005, 2004 and 2003 It is a brilliant hotel. I can't fault the location. It is in an ideal position about 100 metres away from the resort centre.

The hotel is simple yet clean. Better than average for a Greek hotel. The maid comes almost every day, the towels and sheets are changesd 2 - 3 times a week.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They even remembered our names when we returned for the second year. They long hours but were always happy.

We were Bed & Breakfast, but to be honest we were rarely up in time for it. It was a very basic breakfast though.
There were snacks available from the restaurant all day. They could be ordered from the bar and delivered to your sunbed, so you barely need to move all day.

My only real complaint is that you had to pay for the sunbeds. Thats a lot of money if you are there for 2 weeks.

I wouldn't hesistate about booking to go back all three holidays have been fab!!!
