The resort itself was clean and everyone very friendly. Would go back again but would like to see other Greek Isles first. Anyone going there will have a very quiet relaxing time so if its party party party every night,this is not the place for you.

resort of tingaki is lovely and flat , beach is very big plenty of comfortable sunbeds .resort is not for 18 to 30 ,but plenty of bars and tavernas ,kivotos cafe bar was very good with great music the dj nick was very plesent and played wide range of tunes .and the waitress leanne was very friendly .we will go again ,everything was great

Tigaki is a fairly small town, but has a good mix of bars, resaurants, & tourist shops to browse. Personal favourites were Rendez-Vous Bar, Memories Bar/Club, & Vasillis Restaurant. There's a karaoke bar open till 4am, with others offer live entertainment on selected nights. The local bus service link to Kos town is pretty good if you want more night life. The local beach area suffers from seaweed deposits, & could benefit from regular "sweeps" to remove it. Plenty of sunbeds (around E3 each) available - some belonging to seafront hotels - although you have to cross the seafront road for refreshments. We would visit Tigaki again, staying in the town (not Zorbas Beach), as the locals seemed very friendly and it's not an "in-your-face" resort.

The beach is wonderful and very safe if you have kids and the sunbeds all have head rests and are only 3euros each. The litlle shop on the beach is so cheap and you can even have a massage whilst lying in sun along with a doughnut if you like.Loads of bars and Tavernas all on 1 main street with food for every taste, theres a Chinese if you start getting full of all your usual lovely Greek foods, Stifado Soulaki Mousaka etc there are some little Gyros places but Takka Takka Mam is this best.

The resort of tingaki is spotlessly clean. Plenty of tavernas and bars to relax and people watch. The beach is fabulous, very clean indeed.we used chrissys sunbeds very comfortable,the sea is very safe too. Yes we would definitely visit this resort again probably in a couple of years.

Resort ideal for what we wanted, a quite holiday for the 2 of us, with plenty of places to eat at night.
Nice beach, however we didn't spend much time there.
Plenty of nice restaurants and bars. Also some with large TVs for those who can't miss that vital F1 race or other sporting event!
A few small/medium shops for everyday things that you may have run out of or forgotten. Also one large supermarket on the main road, a few minutes walk out of the village.

This resort is for a relaxing holiday, and definatley not for the 18-30's holiday. There are enough eating places to keep you busy for two weeks, Tingaki would not be recomended for a shopping holiday, but Kos town is only 10mins taxi ride away which is great for shopping. The beach is not that great, not as good as i thought it wold be the sand was quite dirty with litter, the sea had about 8 feet of seaweed to get throught before you got into the water, but the pools are great enough. Tingaki is a great resort, we loved it. We loved it so much we have booked to go back in six weeks time.

Tingaki has no faults if you're looking for a relaxing holiday away from it all with a good selection of restaurants for your evening meals followed by quiet drinks.Days can be spent lazing on the beautiful blue flag beach, sunbeds are 3 euro each. Good bus service in to kos town which takes about 15 mins and once there you can get other buses to other parts of the island. Well worth a trip to Zia for an evening meal while watching the sunset, however did not try the reps greek night excursion to the same place. Bicycles are everywhere! and cheap to hire,roads very flat.

The resort if Tingaki was extremely clean, there wasnt any litter anywhere, the beach was very clean aswell with showers available to everyone.
There was quite alot of entertainment available, we spent 2 of the nights at the mascot bar which is on the road leading towards the beach.

we stayed here in may 2008 and the weather was brilliant the apartment was set back from the road and spotless the rooms were very spacious, all the staff were always friendly. tingaki itself was not really what we was looking for, but a good location to explore the rest of the island. the bus service was regular but always packed so didn't always get a seat. we spent a few days by the pool which was cleaned daily and large enough. there are lots of supermarket and taverns nearby.
