The beach is one of the best we've seen in Greece - white sand and clear sea. More than enough sunloungers with comfy padded cushions and pillows. There are enough tavernas and bars for a week’s holiday although some are a bit scruffy and there seemed to be a lot of bars with football on big TV screens which is great for those that like it but not so good if you just want to chat over a drink. The nicest restaurant was at the Meni hotel. Their bar was nice too. There are a few shops along the main road and a much better selection in Kos Town.
You can catch a bus from a few points along the main road to Kos Town. It costs 1 euro 60 and takes 20 mins but bring Magicool and a fan as it’s very hot! Times are listed on the bus stops. Get off at the bus station in Kos Town and get it back from there too.
We got a taxi to the Lido waterpark about 15 mins away (the taxi rank is by the fountain roundabout by the beach) and had a great day there. It’s only a few years old so it is in great condition and was clean and quiet with no queues. It’s cheaper to go on a coach trip organised by the many trip specialists on the main road but the coach trip days are probably busier.

A beautiful place to visit ,not too hectic and extremely friendly.would recomend to visit very hot in july would recomend children under 13 as a bar on the main street has a creche .

Tigaki is a lively little resort with 1 main street with bars and restaurants on both sides and a very nice beach at the bottom which is good for kids because the beach gently slopes out into the sea there are lots and lots of sunbeds available at about 2/5 euro,s a day with plenty of showers, there are lots of minimarkets close to the beach area,we had lots of meals in different restaurants and i must say not a bad one in any,there are lots of gift shops selling a wide range of pottery,jewellrey,silverware,tigaki is a family resort so dont expect late night discos and noisey clubs

Although our hotel comes under the resort of Tigaki, we were a long way from it. We only went into Tigaki in the day when it rained. What we saw looked clean and a lovely long beach with plenty of beds and umbrellas.
We went into Kos Town most evenings and it was great, clean and friendly with lots to offer for families, couples and single people. Lots of different restaurants, bars and shops to suit everyone.

the resort entertainment real is only 2 bar memories and mascot for the young or old if you have the staying power

A small resort that always appeared clean, most entertainmnet was on the one road leading up from the beach, plenty of places to each and drink but very little in the way entertainment. The beach was clean with plenty of sun loungers for hire and showers well placed for washing sand off when leaving beach. Would return to this resort.

resort is cleaned daily outside and pools are cleaned daily,rooms cleaned daily,basic but everything you need is there

Lovely resort for families, couples but a bit quiet for the teenagers especially in May, it might be different later on. Enough resturants to try, several bars and a couple of disco bars. The beach is lovely with veiws over to Turkey and another greek island. The sea was sandy and shallow for a long way out though a bit of wind my make it unsuitable for very young children because of the current.
There are plenty of excursions you can book in the resort, we hired a bike for the day which was great as the area is very flat. Kos Town is only a short bus journey away and defintely worth a visit.
