My boyfriend and I stayed in the Savvas hotel, laganas, Zante. It was a brilliant holiday overall. The apartments are 10mins from beach but nice and quiet away from pubs etc, rooms are very very basic but do the job. Dana the owner is great!

The bar at the savvas is great and open all day, the food is really good there. BE WARNED! Don’t break anything they charge you three times the price of the object damaged!

this hotel is very run down.we knew we were getting basic the staff came into the room to clean with a quick wipe with the mop,1 toilet roll given icey cols water all week in shower also had great big slugs in the showers .the pool was not fit to swim in,also im all for peeps having fun but when it comes to banging on all doors at 5am and screaming and music well that is just a joke.old microwaves and fridges over the gardens like a scrap dump when telling staff about no hot water they just laughed.i believe the pool was closed for 3 weeks due to legionaires .very hard to sleep also with the constant mosqitto bites also in the day too.we was told they had only cleaned the pool at the start of the season and havent done again since.

hotel was fine there is no problems with the accomodation it is just a base for keeping your stuff do not expect any sleep too may imature children screaming and shouting over balconies all night long the noise is intolerable (i could have came on worst week its a personal opinion) the pool is a bit dodgy not the cleanest but no bugs or infections maid service ok u do get clean towels occasionaly they change the bed linnen and if you are really lucky they might give you toilet roll!! bar staff and reps fantastic nice bunch of people but be warned if you like to get some sleep before another day of partying book somewhere else as it is virtually impossible0 to get to sleep in this place some people should learn that being 18 - 30 does infact make you an adult and with that comes responsibillity and respect for other people!!

On arrival (late evening) to the hotel the pool and rooms from the outside looked pleasant and well kept...our room was very basic but had everything you needed and was what we expected. the following morning no hot water from the shower,this re-occured everyday for the whole week we were there i think we had 2 slightly warmish showers the whole time we were there the rest of the time it was ice cold!!The hotel staff did not want to know about others people staying at the hotel were also complaining about the situation.
The pool itself also looked as though it hadnt been cleaned or treated for the whole season,the water was greenish in colour and there was alot of debris on the pool floor god only knows what it was!We didnt swim in the pool once in fear that we might pick up sickness and diaorhea as other previous guests had claimed.
Our room was cleaned every day although i dont think they actually did very much apart from pull back the bed sheets lol.
The location of this hotel is actually quite good as you have a supermarket right oppisite you and its only a short stroll from the beach and bars takes approx 10mins.
