I stayed in this hotel for three nights pre cruise in June 2005. It was an economical alternative to staying on the main island. Prices are excellent for what you get.
My room was a good size and very comfortable and the en-suite shower room was excellent.
Breakfast is an ample cold buffet which included meat, cheese and hard boiled eggs. Unlimited juice, tea and coffee.
The hotel is reached by taking a 5 minute bus journey from the Lido jetty. The door to door journey from St. Mark's Square took just over twenty minute which is excellent considering it can take 40 minute from St. Mark's to Piazzale Roma! I found Lido quiet after the throngs in Venice and was relieved to get back each evening and chill with a nice glass of wine.
There are shops and restaurants fairly close to the hotel and five minutes takes you to the jetty area offering even more choice.
All in all, I found the hotel a welcome escape after the hustle and bustle of the main island and I would have no hesitation recommending it.
