We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of five nights and found the food excellent (except one evening, when for some reason the food was pedestrian and unappealing - but this was an exception to the rule).
The hotel staff were friendly and kind, and a pleasure to deal with - except the (expatriate) General Manager and his wife who were unfriendly and unwilling to compromise or seek alternative solutions when a crisis cropped up in our arrangements caused by the political unrest.

We found the hotel very clean the staff very helpful.
we would have liked the beach bar to open in the evenings as it would have been nice to look over the sea with a cool drink, but the bar shut at 6pm and only open for sea food meals which you paid extra.
As there were only two or three tables booked in the evening it was a shame the bar was not open for other guests, as familys with children would let them run wild till very late and did spoil the evenings so some were out of the way would have been great.

I've just come back from a week's holiday at the Severin Sea Lodge, and we had an amazing time. The food and drink was great, they made every effort to make you feel welcome. It does however become a bit repetitive after a week, so if you stay longer it may be worth finding local restaurants to dine at. Every room has a safe, there's internet access for
